Was browsing X and only now realized humiliation done to SA, I mean it's SA, so it's commendable feat from England, I thought 300 will be will broken in IPL but oh well... and now I don't know what I'll be looking forward to from SRH.

No aura farming for Cummins or " Aussie mentality" brigade. 

when ipl was producing such scorecards, i thought it'd never happen in international match and that too in between 2 test playing nations but guess cricket boards taking notes and bringing boundaries in just to attract more eyeballs. It's a double edge sword, i hope it's a rare event and restricted to few venue.

This year's Asia Cup matches are not looking very interesting because no team is giving much effort and difficult targets, due to which today's match is also being played weakly. The way Bangladesh batsmen have started the game poorly, if they had played hard and tenaciously they would have had some interest in victory. There is a very good bowling effort from Sri Lanka and they will make an easy target with the same effort which will be very beneficial for them and will create chances of victory. A good team like Bangladesh has disappointed in today's match which is reducing the enjoyment of this match. Bangladesh batsmen could not focus much on their batting, due to which this match will become easy for Sri Lanka. Bangladesh batsmen have completed their batting and their target is 139 runs which is weak according to Sri Lanka good bowling.

There are not many strong teams in Asia cup. Teams like Hong Kong, UAE and Oman won't be able to give good performance against teams like India, Pakistan and SL. I wasn't able to find any single native player in Hong Kong, UAE and Oman team, such teams level won't improve because expats don't have any affiliation with there teams. Teams like Nepal must be given preference in such tournaments because they have 100% local players and by playing cricket in such events there level of cricket will go up.

The Bangladeshi team disappointed me from the start. Seeing 2 wickets for 0 runs, I didn't want to watch the game. So I calmed down a bit and watched and saw that Liton Das had taken the run a little further. And now 15 overs and 5 wickets have been completed, and the run is only 93. However, I can see that the partnership between Zakir Ali and Shamim Hossain is building well, if it continues like this, it is hoped that Bangladesh will be able to score above 140 runs. If Bangladesh scores close to 170 runs, then I think Bangladesh will have a chance of winning.

Basically, Bangladesh is a total failure, where Sri Lanka is batting aggressively on the same pitch where Bangladesh was struggling to bat in their innings. Where Sri Lankan bowlers were giving away 16 runs in an over, Bangladesh bowlers were giving away 18 runs in an over. Now I understand that Bangladesh could not play on this pitch. Basically, Bangladesh is very weak in batting and Zaker Ali and Shamim could not survive and score 140 runs in the end.

Bangladesh team has done a very bad batting performance today, their batting performance was very bad, after Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan Tamim got out in the beginning, the team's run was 0/2. It was look like completely destructive hell for Proteas bowlers, because short boundary were really hurt them as even some miss play shot from Phil salt and buttler cross over the boundary rope early one and really set momentum for them. While proteas got really under pressure after having almost 130 in just 8th overs. Honestly British really take that match seriously and properly utilize that shorter boundary and thus set such huge number for African whome were already in deep shock. I taught it's some kind of ipl innings, because mostly thier flat pitch were allowing them to have such high total matches. Hope so last Match will be much more spicy and interesting to watch .

It was not because South Africa took England lightly, but rather they failed to put up a strong resistance against the English attack. Did you notice how aggressive the England batsmen were? Right from the start, Joz Buttler and Phil Salt started batting aggressively. The aim of each and every batsman was to try to hit a boundary with every ball. Their main aim was to try to hit a boundary with every ball or to score a run. They succeeded in such an aggressive plan and destroyed the South African bowling lineup. Maybe England will lose very badly in the third match. The nature of an aggressive batting lineup is such that either you make a high record or a low record. Either you win by a huge margin or you lose by a huge margin.

Have you watched the 2nd T20I between England and South Africa? I didn't watch the live match, but I watched the highlights, what an amazing performance, such a performance is not seen easily. Every England batsman batted aggressively, Phil Salt was unbeaten on 141 off 60 balls. But yesterday England made a record, as far as I know, England scored 300+ runs in T20Is for the first time as a Test playing team. Whereas some teams cannot score 300+ runs in an ODI match. England finally scored 304 runs, while South Africa were all out for 158 runs. England won by a huge margin of 146 runs. England won yesterday and tied the series 1-1, the third match will be the final match for these two teams.

England has made a huge victory over South Africa with a classical performance which will blow our minds away. England was to bat first with Salt and Buttler whose partnership was a perfect match as they shared a 126 runs partnership. Salt remained not out till the end with over 23 boundaries with 141 runs with Brook who occupied 41 runs. South Africa couldn't eliminate many players so they were given a massive target of 304 runs.
It was already a big pressure on SA of that huge target then their wicket loss at short intervals made them pressurized. South Africa took a start with 50 runs but later couldn't hold the back. England's lineup was in top form as they were beating SA like they are playing with youngsters. England wiped out the whole batting lineup at 158 runs so they won this game by a huge margin.

Todays Asia Cup match Bangladesh Vs Srilanka was a disaster for Bangladesh team. They couldn't hold their openners and that run out of Towhid Hridoy was one disaster after another. So much disappointed after watching this match. On the other hand Srilanka played their usual match on this type of pitch. They did full use of this type of pitch.

Tomorrow most awaited match India Vs Pakistan will be played. In my watch list India , Afghanistan & Srilanka are there. Hope tomorrow's match will be most interesting match.

Moreover, the wicket that Mustafiz took first gave some assurance at the beginning of the game. However, Sri Lanka batted well, especially Pathum Nisanka scored an unbeaten half-century and Kamil Mishara scored good runs. Now hopefully Bangladesh will play well against Afghanistan in the future.

Moreover, the wicket that Mustafiz took first gave some assurance at the beginning of the game. However, Sri Lanka batted well, especially Pathum Nisanka scored an unbeaten half-century and Kamil Mishara scored good runs. Now hopefully Bangladesh will play well against Afghanistan in the future.

Although I had mixed feelings about this match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka earlier, before the match started today, I thought that Bangladesh could take a little more advantage in this match because they had previously defeated Sri Lanka in the T20 series and at the same time, this was their first match for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had already won one match and were playing their second match. So I thought that Bangladesh could win this match.

But when the match started, the scenario was completely different. Bangladesh's batsmen were unable to stand up to the Sri Lankan bowlers and the situation was such that they could have been all out for less than 100 runs but managed to set a target of 140 runs after struggling a lot. Not really a big surprise because even UAE who just scored 57 in their first match of this Asia cup beat Bangladesh by 2 -1 and that's the status of Bangladesh and need to step up if they want to stay relevant in this modern evolving cricket.

I am not watching the SL in the recent games but some of the previews I watch most of them rate SL over Pakistan and if not India then it must be SL not any other team so they are in their resurgence period I guess.

I agree that in this Asia Cup competition some squad are quite weak and we already found that out in first few matches. Recently, Bangladesh faced their first defeat in Group B against Sri Lanka squad. Next match will be from Group A and it has a lot of hype because it will be clash among Pakistan and India. In recent match,  Bangladesh squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 139 scores after playing 20 overs inning and this scores were quite low quality and bowlers of Sri Lanka squad displayed strong support. Wanindu Hasaranga played important role in victory and he picked up 2 crucial wickets of Bangladesh team. Kamil Mishara and Pathum Nissanka both build strong  and long batting partnership and made this victory easy and both collected 46 and 50 scores respectively.

Bangladesh's performance in the match is not good, they did not give a very good target, and we cannot expect 170 runs in this performance, their performance was very bad in the beginning, because of the pair of Zakir Ali and Shamim Hossain, Bangladesh finally collected 139 runs, your guess here was absolutely right, however, I cannot think too positively for Bangladesh in this target, even if it was 160+, there would have been a good chance, but anyway, now we have to see how Bangladesh's bowling performance is, I can never call Sri Lanka weak, they will think of doing quite well in the match, so since Bangladesh gave a low target, Bangladesh will have to try to do quite well in terms of bowling, now we have to see how they perform.

You are right, Bangladesh team gave a very small run target in this match and Sri Lanka cricket team chased the target in just 14 overs. Pathum Nissanka was a top scorer of this match  he made important runs for the team and made pressure free match for the team he made 50 runs in just 34 balls and was awarded as player of the match.  One more player palyed very well  in this match he is K. Mishara. Bangladesh team aide only two palyer played well  in this match but his team other players could not play well and match became one sided. Sri Lanka team has top quality batters and that is the reason they won this match easily.

Yeah, In T20 Asia Cup Bangladesh faced Sri Lanka. Bangladesh expressed a low performance with 139 runs but SL didn't hesistate in chasing the target without any struggle. From the target by Bangladesh we can understand that they are going to lose this game but there was a hope for a victroy. Bangladesh bat first with an elimination of both openers without scoring a single runs. From that points SL took advantage of this moment and dominated the game by eliminating players at short intervals. Bangladesh shoudl say thanks to middle order players who suvived in high pressure situations under high pressure. They scored a target of 139 runs.

SL's performance was very well as their opener Nissanka and one down player Kamil scored nearly fifties and the remaining runs were chased up by the other players. Bangladesh knocked out four wickets but due to the small target they couldn't win this game. Bangladesh lost this game by 6 wickets and many overs left.

Today important Asia Cup match is between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. Both teams are fighting to get into next round Super Fours. We are all disappointed with Bangladesh's performance because no team can be expected to win with today's performance. After watching Bangladesh's game today, I initially assumed that Bangladesh would not be able to win against Sri Lanka. There is a saying that Bengalis cannot tolerate too much praise and we got the proof again. We had won the series against Sri Lanka earlier. Based on that win, many said that Bangladesh could beat Sri Lanka today, but it did not happen. Bangladesh itself made it very difficult to qualify for the next round by losing because to go to the next round they will have to beat Afghanistan, where Bangladesh will have to go through a difficult performance.

Yes, tomorrow's match will be really interesting because India and Pakistan are going to be an interesting match where there will be a lot of excitement.

I have a question about two batsmen in the Bangladesh team squad, Parvez Hossain and Tanjid Hasan, these two batsmen can never perform well. They are just stuck in the team, and their game is not improving. Bangladesh team faced Hong Kong in the third match of this Asia Cup and Bangladesh team won because Hong Kong team was weak. But Bangladesh team has become completely helpless while performing with Sri Lanka team, in this match the opening two batsmen could not collect a single run.
As a result, due to the dismissal of these two batsmen, the next batsmen of Bangladesh team have faced pressure. The top batsmen of Bangladesh team could not perform well, I must ask Bangladesh Cricket Board to take care of these two openers Tanjid Hasan and Parvez Hossain or it is better to release them from the team.
