As we all know two Asia Cup cricket matches are happening today.
First match is between United Arab Emirates and Oman. It is Group A game being held in Abu Dhabi and this will be a good competition because both teams are on same level almost.
Second match is Group B game between Sri Lanka and Hong Kong which will be played in Dubai and this is totally one sided match and SriLankan easily win this match. All four teams need to win these games to have chance at making it to the next round Super Fours of tournament.

There will be two matches of Asia Cup today. The first match will be between United Arab Emirates vs Oman. I hope this match can be a competitive match. But I think United Arab Emirates will win this match.

On the other hand, the second match will be between Sri Lanka vs Hong Kong. This match will be one-sided, because we all know that Sri Lanka is a stronger team than Hong Kong, so it will not be possible for Hong Kong to defeat Sri Lanka. And Sri Lanka's bowling line is very aggressive, so Hong Kong's batsmen will not be able to survive for long.

United Arab Emirates maybe hosting the matches, but Oman is in better form. On the other hand, Hong Kong is perhaps the weakest team participating in this tournament. They are struggling ever since Mark Chapman decided to move from the country of his birth to New Zealand (same happened with Singapore once Tim David moved to Australia). Anyway, neither the UAE, nor Oman has a realistic chance to enter the semi-finals. In all probability it will be India and Pakistan from Group A.

In the last few years Pakistan has been struggling in many departments but cricket was one of the few sources of entertainment for its fans it is now on the verge of collapse after their recent game against India the batting was particularly terrible with neither the top nor middle order able to play quality spin bowling.

All the key batsmen went cheaply the management and selection process were also severely flawed, bringing Pakistan to new lows the exit of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan was a huge loss, as they were two of the team's best players. Zimbabwe cricket is slowly improving. I can see the improvement in the batting order of the team especially. The team performed quite well in the last series against Sri Lanka. The players were confident. Zimbabwe is also able to play well in the 3-match T20 series against Namibia.
Zimbabwe scored a huge 211 runs today for the loss of just 3 wickets. The pitch is batting friendly though. Even then I have seen 200+ scores from Zimbabwe in very few matches. I can't find who was the first one to hit him six but you can see in the article I shared about they mentioned it's the sixth time someone is hitting Bumrah more than one 6 means it happened a lot of time before this.

Thanks for correcting me. It's not an easy thing to hit a six on Bumrah bowling and Farhan has done that twice yesterday. India was in complete control of the match from the first ball till the last ball of the match. Pakistan lost two early wickets and never recovered from that early loss. Every Indian bowler in yesterday game got wickets apart from Abhishek Sharma who just bowled one over. If Pakistan and India both qualified for super four then we might see another India Pakistan match.

There is no doubt that this match will be one- sided. Sri lanka is a very strong team in T20 format. In the first match, we saw that the  team performed well against Bangladesh  and was able to defeat bangladesh easily. I am sure that Sri Lanka will win against Hongkong by a big margin.

Zimbabwe are considered favourites against Namibia. Namibia was not a strong team. We also saw Zimbabwe's excellent performance against Sri Lanka in the last series. Whatever, I would say that Zimbabwe's bowlers should have bowled a little more controlled. Zimbabwe should have won this match by at least 50 runs. I am not happy with the performance of any other bowler except Wellington Masakadza and Sikandar Raza. Wellington Masakadza took 1 wicket for 23 runs in 4 overs. Raza took 2 wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs.

Looks like Pakistan team won't be able to score even 100 runs today because it's 65/6 after 13 overs. The top batting lineup of Pakistan collapsed miserably in front of Indian pacers and spinners. I am not very aware of the strength of the UAE team but their batting today against Oman looks like a mature team. They are batting brilliantly against Oman. Especially the captain Muhammad Waseem played a great innings of 62 runs off 51 balls and another batsman Alishan Sharafu scored 51 runs off 38 balls. They helped the team to make a respectable score. I think it will be difficult for Oman to win this match because the UAE team has already scored a huge score of 172 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Oman team target for victory is 173 runs.

I think the match between Hong Kong and Sri Lanka will be won by Sri Lanka without any significant competition. By winning this match, Sri Lanka team can qualify for the next round.

Yeap we will see some tight computation between United Arab Emirates and Oman team. But currently United Arab amirat also doing good battling, they lose their five wickets and after 20 overs United Arab Emirates took 172 run which looks very good score at this position.

Although I was also expecting that they would gonna take more than 170 run in this match well they have passed their 14vovers. Anyway I think this is a good score it could be tough for Oman team.

None of them is interesting to any of us since the result won't affect any teams as of now. I don't think Hong Kong can beat Sri Lanka today. The UAE and OMAN match results won't affect India Pakistan at all since these two will surely qualify for the super four round. I think i will watch the match beween Bangladesh and Afghanistan since this match result will affect both teams ranking.

However, the ecuation became too hard for Bangladesh to qualify for the super four round. It won't be easy to win against Afghanistan especially when they are playing in UAE. I will also watch Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka and I think there will be some contest in that match.
