Well, I have watched a match after a long time. I didn't watch the entire match, but I still spent a lot of time watching the game and sometimes the scores. Bangladesh was doing pretty well at the beginning. But they could not play well against Rashid Khan and Noor in the middle overs. Bangladesh kept losing wickets in the middle overs, so the score didn't become big enough even though they batted well in the first ten overs. I expected Jaker Ali to play well, but he wasted some balls in the slog overs, which were too important then.

The good thing is that the regular bowlers did pretty well. I don't know why Litton used bowlers like Shamim, who conceded many runs. That was a bad decision. But they managed to win the match at the end of the day. Their eyes will be on the Afghanistan vs. Sri Lanka match. If Sri Lanka wins, Bangladesh will qualify for the Super Four. But their journey will end otherwise.

Towards the end of the match, Bangladesh kept their hopes of qualifying alive by beating Afghanistan by eight runs. Yup, Bangladesh did a good effort in the end and they beat Afghanistan in this crucial match by just 8 runs. The target wasn't big to defend but the bowlers give their best effort. I saw a true team work in the Bangladesh team after a long time.  Almost every bowler got two wickets with Mustafizur Rahman leading by taking three wickets.

Bangladesh has played all their matches and are in 2nd position. Yeah, it is believed that Sri Lanka will beat Afghanistan and therefore the Bangladesh team will qualify, but we never know. These Afghanistan players can produce some unbelievable performances in that game, we can't be sure until the game is played.

Yes dear you are completely right that Bangladesh bowlers were main reason for their win. It is very hard to win T20 match by defending low score of just 155 runs so their victory is very impressive. Your points about bowlers are spot on Nasum Ahmed was amazing giving up only 11 runs in his 4 overs and Mustafizur Rahman also took 3 key wickets. and yes openers started well but middle order could not keep it going. It is huge credit to bowlers that they were able to turn what looked like sure loss into great victory.

Batting for a target of 154 runs, the Afghanistan team was under pressure from the beginning. After handling the initial pressure, Rahmanullah Gurbaz tried to relieve some pressure by batting well but wickets kept falling regularly. Another batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz created a chance to win by scoring 30 runs but their innings ended at 146 runs. After winning by 8 runs, there is doubt about the progress of the Bangladesh team to the next round.
