Yeah, Oman has many wickets in hand now, but unfortunately, they played their first 10 overs very slow scored only 62 runs, which means they scored one run per ball. I think that is not a good start. During the power play, they should have at least covered half the runs and gotten closer to the 100 run target, then they could have easily won the match. But now the score is high and the balls are fewer, which is apparently pressuring them and will lead to their wickets falling one after another, and they will lose.

On the other side, India is a good team that wins matches and is already at the top, so it is most likely that this match will go in Oman's favor because a loss can't affect India's scoreboard.

Oman's performance against the superpowers of cricket is commendable. However, it must be admitted that there was a flaw in Oman's plan. Despite having enough wickets in hand, they did not play aggressively to win. However, even the big teams of Asia cannot perform so strongly against India. I expected India to score 200+ against Oman and bowl them out for 100 runs. But Oman forced India to collect 188 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, here the improvement in their bowling lineup is noticeable. Even Oman's improvement in batting is noticeable, against such a strong bowling lineup of India, they lost only 4 wickets and put 167 runs on the scoreboard. Although India rested 2 important players Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarty, India is still strong enough. However, Oman lacked a plan due to which they could not lead the match to victory, but their effort was there and the improvement was noticeable.

I didn't get to watch the whole game but I was completely blown away by Oman's performance. A team like Oman has come close to winning against India and lost, especially after batting for 189 runs, Oman lost by 167 for 4 but unfortunately, Oman lost by 21 runs. I think this will be the first time Oman has performed like this against a first-class team. Although Oman lost, their good performance is commendable and if they had planned well and played from the beginning, they might have been able to reduce the margin of defeat even further. Anyway, congratulations to Oman for playing such a good and competitive innings.
