Regarding batting postions GG already gave a statement that batting order are over rated in white ball cricket so expect more crazy zig zag in bating order.

Bumrah and Arshdeep had a off day at work, sadly on a same day and we got spanked.

Big worry should be batting though, Gill kept failing and not showing his hands, blue eyed boy so he'll get a full series but hope ( wishful thinking) there are some sane voices in management. SKY literally forgot how to bat and doing a cosplay of his former self with everything but bat. Other batters are not showing up with collective effort. In first match, pandaya did the heavy lifting and last night Tilak.

Yes both Bumrah and Arshdeep had bad day together, and it made whole bowling team weak, but more worrying aspect is very unstable batting. Lack of steady play of key players, especially Shubman Gill, who continues to fail, and Suryakumar Yadav who seems to have lost his great form completely is main issue in team since wins are too reliant on performance of one player, such as Hardik Pandya or Tilak Varma, team needs team to play well together. Overall result of series will be decided by whether key batsmen such as Gill and SKY will be able to start playing well soon to support sometimes good performances of others.

But his hard work and perseverance made the match successful. If someone gets out after scoring 90 runs and that outing is a run out, then there is probably nothing more sad than that and I have observed this very well in the case of Quinton de Kock. This South African batsman may not have been able to accept that he was run out after coming so close to a century. However, he played shots all around the wicket as long as he was at the wicket and played a big role in the team's score of 200 plus. If 90 runs had not come from his bat, then South Africa might not have been able to collect 160 plus runs in the first innings and if the target had been 160 to 170, then India would have won this match easily. Such a comeback in the second T20 match after losing the first T20 match is undoubtedly praiseworthy. I hope South Africa maintains such a winning streak in the T20 matches to come.

I support the general evaluation at this point. The 90 run-out by Quinton de Kock was also unlucky but the damage was already done as his innings gave the South African a solid lead in the match. In T20 cricket, the contributions made by an innings have an enormous influence than the individual achievements. Ending by David Miller and Donovan Ferreira was also important, because those last minute runs stretched it to the point where India could not reach. Indian wise, it was an uncharacteristic off-day to the main bowlers of India, as both Bumrah and Arshdeep gave up easily. The only person who had managed to exercise some control was Varun Chakravarthy. The series has certainly become more competitive and interesting as both teams have good and bad performances in the matches.

Excatly , i would even argue he is too emotional to be a coach but we can't do anything about it now but atleast BCCI needs to instruct him not to come for every conference ..he is coming in & making everything about his ego ...Team is started to feel like secondary character.

Quinton de Kock was out on zero in the first match and South Africa couldn't even reach 75 runs in that innings. In the 2nd game he made a 90 runs and South Africa got got runs and won the game.

As far as the Indian team is concerned, they should be keen to get Quinton de Kock out early. If they managed to do that, i am sure it won't be a big task for the Indian bowlers to get through the rest of the SA batsmen and that too cheaply. South African fate depends upon how Quinton de Kock play in the thrid T20 game.

ILT20 match between Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants was easily won by 8 wickets by Vipers, who had kept Giants to score of 157/7. Bowler of Vipers, Khuzaima Tanveer, did very good job of keeping Giants score low and in batting Max Holden with 64 runs and Sam Curran with 67 runs struck brilliant partnership to enable Vipers to score 158/2 and win with over three overs remaining. This win makes Vipers only team that has not lost in tournament and this shows their good performance in this season and they are already on top of the table.
