Actually, when India started their batting, I checked the score and after seeing their first two wickets fall, I thought that India might be going in the same direction as in the ODI series, that is, they will lose to New Zealand in the second match.
But Kishan and Suryakumar, with their completely responsible batting performance, lifted the Indian team out of that pressure and put pressure on the New Zealand team. And later, Ishan Kishan was out for 76 runs, but Shivam Dube filled his positon by taking 36 runs from 18 balls.

Exactly I also just thought like you. But India has changed the direction. Their every player is the match winner. When Abhishek Sharma got out on the first ball I was thinking that it has made much of pressure on India but Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav made a great partnership. Things began with fast and famous beginning of  series in Dubai, Ireland barely avoided major fright when it beat Italy by 3 wickets in the first T20I. Game in The Sevens Stadium was not high scoring match, as Italy had been kept to 118 runs, with Matthew Humphreys of Ireland bowling 4/16 and setting career-best, before Ireland almost fell apart trying to reach goal.

Grant Stewart of Italy took 3 wickets and made it close finish but Ireland got across line with three balls to go. It is important practice of T20 World Cup in month and play of Italy, with experienced players such as JJ Smuts and their captain Wayne Madsen, says that they are serious strong nation.
According to me, Ireland was lucky to come out with win and they have to fix their batting strength before second T20I, or else they are likely to lose.

Although New Zealand has played well in Test and ODI cricket, they are still behind India in T20 cricket. I do not see these defeats as unexpected, it would not be surprising if they lose 5 T20 matches as well. It is very difficult for any team to beat India in a T20 series, especially on India's home ground.

It isn't about the home ground actually, Indian batsmen are on top form now in the T20 format. As the way Indian batsmen have played in the first two matches, they are going to win this series either by 5 - 0 or 4 - 1 difference. Sanju Samson was flopped again in today's match. Where Ishan Kishan has played very well. Sanju Samson is losing his priority for the world cup matches.

New Zealand won the ODI series against India. But it will be very difficult to win the T20 series. India won the first two matches by dominating.

I was very surprised to see India's batting in yesterday's match. New Zealand gave a target of 209 runs. It was a pretty big target. Even then, India reached the target of victory in 15.2 overs. However, India is very good in the T20 format, and every player is capable of winning at any time. New Zealand has completely lost the momentum, which was gained when they won the ODI series by a margin of 2-1. Indian squad is quite different for the T20I series, and includes big names such as Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Hardik Pandya. For some reason, this combination worked better when compared to the one used for the ODIs (Shubman Gill/Rohit Sharma/Virat Kohli). And in turn, this creates even more headache for the Indian selectors. BTW, I agree with what you said. New Zealand had India two down in the second over. But they wasted the opportunity.

Some fine chase from india, thought we'll struggle a bit after 2 wickets but next 3 batters made a mockery of 200+ runs chase. Kiwis surely needed atleast 20 runs cushion.

Kishan came in clutch tonight, wasn't enjoying sky batting as for first 10 balls he looked like a spectator and accumulator but boy o boy he did change the gear quickly ( first 10 runs off 10 balls and next 72 runs came in just 27 balls), hope skipper didn't use all his luck tonight.

Fielding standard was piss poor from both the teams, can understand india as lately, their fielding standards are going down but don't expect poor field from Kiwis.

Ishan and SKY getting some runs is a good sign and now the big concern is on Sanju who should atleast post a decent runs in the next match or else it will be hard on Ishan who is not playing in this original position just because of Sanju and if Tilak gets fit then Sanju might even miss out since Ishan Kishan proved what he is capable of.

Kiwis had no time to stop the run flow, started by Ishan and Sky ended it even after losign 2 early wickets.

Ishan scoring runs in this fashion only created more headache for the selectors.

Who'll sit out once Tilak recovers? Selectors surely eyeing for top order wk batter as it gives them freedom to add better finisher in the middle order, that's why jitesh went out and rinku chipped in the squad.

For comparison, Abhishek Sharma's average is 36.33. For Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, it is 26.66 and 36.27 respectively. I don't remember whom, but one of the selectors told the media that if Samson is excluded from the squad, his fans react very violently, and the selectors are worried about it. Enough is enough. Newly T20 format competition was started yesterday and this competition is playing among Italy and Ireland squads. Italy squad was started first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 118 scores off 20 overs inning. Matthew Humphreys bowler played key role in victory and he picked up 4 important wickets of Italy squad and supported squad in good way. Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector both batters played fantastic inning and both collected 34 and 41 scores respectively. Ireland succeeded to defeat Italy squad in first match of T20 format competition and emerged victory with 3 deliveries and 3 wickets.

The team that won this match by three wicket and three ball is Ireland.The target that their team had to change was 118 runs. If you look at it, their performance was not that special. Seven of their players were dismissed. Their team had put a lot of bowling pressure on the first team, due to which they also took revenge and put a lot of bowling pressure on them, but they failed. The Italian team had all their players dismissed in 18 overs and three balls, which means that the pressure from the other team was quite high on them. And since they had lost the toss and the other team chose to bowl themselves and let them bat, due to which they were not fully prepared. At the same time, they could not perform well. Due to this, this team lost the first T20 match between them and Ireland won by one. The Italian team should have performed better and showed their batting prowess in the state match, but they did not do anything like that.

This is definitely unfortunate news for Bangladeshi cricket fans. I never expected ICC to take such a decision, because BCB felt it was not safe for them to play in India. In that case, ICC could have given them a chance to play in another country's venue. Instead, they took a hasty decision and excluded Bangladesh from the upcoming T20 World Cup. I think the ICC has set a terrible precedent. As far as I have seen in the news, BCB has filed an international court case against the ICC. But I don't think the verdict will be in BCB's favour. It is a big shock for the Bangladesh team, If bd team can't play this World Cup, then their ranking will have a harmful effect.

I actually thought until now that the ICC is a neutral organization and here it must consider the safety of the players of a country and also the media personnel and fans of that country who will go to the stadium because earlier we saw that when India did not want to go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy due to security reasons, the ICC accepted their request and gave them the opportunity to play in an alternative venue.. At the same time, the ICC gave the same opportunity to Pakistan. Also, in many previous such tournaments, many countries were allowed to change their hosts due to security concerns.

But in the case of Bangladesh, the ICC is saying that no team will be given extra privilege. Isn't this a double-standard position? I would definitely consider this decision of the ICC as a double standard position, and at the same time, condemn their decision.

The Indian team has several destructive options for T20. I am a little worried about Sanju Samson, he has talent and is a promising team for India. But he is very inconsistent, on his day he knows how to destroy the bowlers of the opposition team. But these days do not come regularly. Even if he is given a chance in the national team, he does not know how to make the most of the opportunity. Since India has several options for the same position, he will have to earn trust quickly.

The current Indian T20 squad is very strong, but this squad is also a little weak. This batting lineup is a little weak against strong bowling lineups like Australia, Pakistan and England. It is not possible to win any title with this squad, especially in neutral venues.

Him being unlucky is kinda true but when you are professional cricketer and racking up millions of dollars by playing the sport. You can't afford to hide behind " unlucky" argument especially when age is quickly catching up with you, with fair amount of competition. I mean you are not 24 anymore and only performance can cement your position.

Let's be clear here. ICC's issue was not the request from Bangladesh. Their issue was that the request was made at the last minute, and the BCB linked it with the IPL issues. Had BCB clearly said that they can't play in India at least 2-3 months before the start of the tournament, then the ICC could have reacted in a different way. But here the problem is that the BCB was fine with playing their matches in India, until Mustafizur Rahman was kicked out of the IPL. Once Mustafizur was banned from the IPL (which happens to be a domestic tournament organized by the BCCI), the BCB demanded that they should be placed in another group. This is not possible, just a few days before the start of the world cup.
