The first T20I series between Sri Lanka and England is being played, although the match has been reduced to 17 overs due to rain today. As far as I am concerned Sri Lankan team will target around 150 runs for England team. And that will be an easy target for England team. So I am getting the feelings that England will win this match.

From West Indies side, we saw good hitting by Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer and Sherfane Rutherford. Now it's job of West Indies bowler to win the game because they have a huge target to defend. Aiden Markram got out quite early but Quinton de Kock is still on the crease, to win the game West Indies bowler need wicket of de kock as early as possible. After 5 overs South Africa score is 55 runs and required rate is 11 runs per over.

This series is good opportunity for host Sri Lankan team to prepare for upcoming T20 World cup.

I didn't watch the match, but I was really surprised by the result of the match. Chasing a target of 222, even on a batting-friendly pitch, it is not easy for any team to finish the match with such dominance. South Africa completed that difficult task with ease. Quinton de Kock is playing his best innings after a long break. Although the West Indies bowling lineup is not world-class, the way he batted was commendable. I expect the runners-up of the last T20 World Cup to win the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Again, rain interrupted the innings and by using the DLS method, England got the win today against Sri Lanka. Today, the situation was very upsetting for the spectators who truly wanted to watch the whole innings, but due to rain, it became impossible. However, it was a great day for England

West Indies are giving them full competition, but they are not making the match in their favor in any way, so South Africa is not giving them any chance.

The England team has won by the 11runs by the DLS method at only 15overs because again rain comes on the ground, even I thought that maybe the Sri Lankan team will be able to score up to 170 but they got all out so quickly.
Even then, this match would be a good practice field for the Sri Lankan team before the t20 world cup tournament but I think if we saw this kinds of  match performance I don't think there will be much benefit for them as they were acting like the underdog team

Bowling was mess, according to me, but the Centurion pitch was batsman dream, and would have cruelly given out payback on nearly any attack, had Keshav Maharaj not so well shown his skills by getting 2/22 in resulting mess.

The West Indies team is going through a very bad time. They have given a huge target of 222  runs. If the West Indies bowlers could have bowled a little more controlled, they would have been able to win this  match. But South africa won the match in 17.3 overs. This was also an easy win for South Africa. The West Indies batsmen can bat well at times. But the performance of their bowlers is very irregular and weak. It is very unlikely that they will do well in the next world cup. West Indies will not be able to win against any renowned team.

At the moment, younger bowlers are unable to perform consistently and replace Rashid as England's main spinner. Rashid himself is a very ordinary spinner BTW. The other spinner (Liam Dawson) also had a decent outing yesterday, but as I mentioned he is not very consistent. Jofra Archer returned after a brief break and although he bowled 3 overs, he couldn't pick up any wickets. Overall, bowling department looks decent for England.

The England team continues its winning streak and they won the first T20 match too by 11 runs. Kusal Mendis and Pathum Nissanka got a bit of a start but that was not enough as when they got out, there was no one who continue the momentum or even stay at the wicket. This means that Sri Lanka were struggling to get the partnership throughout the innings and you do not have much time in a T20 match to come back in the game.

When England came to bat, they kept the run rate under control and never panic. I was a bit disappointed to see Phil Salt got out at 46. He should have completed his century but never mind, what's more important was that the result was in favor of England team.

Btw he ranks 6th in t-20 bowling ranking ahead of mujeeb and zampa so not ordinary spinner per se.

Australia International cricket team is looking in pressure because Pak team gave target of 199 runs in this match which is not an easy for that team against Pak in the home ground of Pakistan. Australia is playing this series without their main players like Pat Cummins, Starc and Pakistan taking full advantage of that. Today Pakistan has given a target of 199 runs to Australia and in reply Australia already lost 4 wickets in 7 overs. It looks difficult that Australia will win this match because they still require 145 runs in 78 balls. Australia only hope is Cameron Green, as long as he is on the crease Australia still have chances of winning the game provided someone from other end support him. Babar Azam is struggling to regain his form and that's a worry sign for Pakistan.
