Both the teams are in great form, so this is going to be an evenly fought match. Odds also look interesting. The pitch at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is likely to give advantage to the spinners ahead of the pacers. Abhishek Sharma is likely to be back in the playing XI for India, and he will replace the useless Sanju Samson. It is not known at this point whether India will retain Washington Sundar in the XI. In that case he will replace Arshdeep Singh. Adding Kuldeep Yadav to the XI is another option. Hardik Pandya is going to be another key player for India. He has excelled whenever he has played against them.

Both teams can't afford to lose this game because of some obvious reasons. India is more stronger then Pakistan and they also have advantage of winning more games in world cup. Nepal really struggling against West Indies. They are 17/2 after 3 overs and two of the top order batsmen are already back in pavilion (Kushal Bhurtel and skipper Rohit Paudel). Very difficult to believe that this is the same Nepal team which defeated West Indies in a T20I series by a margin of 2-1 (and that too in West Indies). Overall, this edition of the T20 World Cup is turning out to be very disappointing for the associate teams. Another heavy defeat for Nepal today would mean that ICC will continue with the 20-team format in the long term without any further expansion.

South Africa have scored 138 runs in 13 overs. They have lost only three wickets. They do not seem to be losing this match. They need only 38 runs from 42 balls to win.

They didn't win anything against big dogs but they should their potential all right to me.

Yes, few fixtures will be completely one sided but it's not end of the world and fans should be patience. It should be fine in a longer run, given there is enough exposure.

Potential alone is not enough. Although a lot of their supporters ask for additional funding and fixtures, things have improved recently. West Indies agreed to a T20I series recently (which Nepal won by a margin of 2-1). And they are receiving much more funding when compared to other associate nations, due to their membership with the ACC. In addition to approx. $250k that they receive every year from the ICC, the ACC also provides them around $400k to $500k. And they also get considerable amounts from the Nepal Premier League (NPL) as well. Given this, it is natural to expect them to perform better.

West Indies also beat England, so it can be understood that they have improved themselves a little. I so much love come-back stories like this, Just a couple weeks ago, everyone was saying the West Indies were done because of their awful series performance,  but the World Cup has a way of resetting people's expectations. The win against Scotland was a good confidence booster,  but beating England by 30 runs showed they still have the quality and experience to compete at a high level.

I do agree the West Indies are better than Nepal. Yes it's true that Nepal is not yet in the same level West Indies but I will still say that in modern cricket no team should be taken lightly, I think they just need to remain focused.  Shai Hope played a calm and mature innings with that unbeaten 61,  and Shimron Hetmyer supported him well,  their ability to chase down 134 runs in just 15.2 overs is really impressive.

This shows that form is temporary,  but a team's confidence and belief is what really matters and that is what the West Indies showed.

Performance wise give them atleast 5-10 years, if world cricket can tolerate non performing bangladesh then it can manage associates as well.

Funding is biggie here and can be resolved only by ICC. Bilateral tours might be tough regularly but in recent time, they also played trilateral series against Indian states. Tbh I'd love if nepal as a team gets to play in the vijay hajare trophy if not in Ranji.

The T20 World Cup matches are coming to an end at a very fast pace.The 26th match of this series was played between the United States of America and Namibia in which the United States of America won by 31 runs.Of course there is confidence in the aim of around 200 to win the T20 World Cup.The United States of America also scored 199 runs for the loss of very few wickets.All the batsmen on the side of the United States of America showed great performance. Shaheen Shah got good punishment in first and only over, now spinners are doing job but nothing special happening for Pakistan.

Tilak Verma is watching from other side, things are clearly looking 200+ is target for Team India on this match which could be match winning total because Pakistani batting lineup is always not having good balance for big total especially when they are on chase. Colombo pitch is also always helpful for spinners, this is not favouring Pakistani bowlers, can Usman Tariq can make any difference? It's going to be interesting.
