Lol, win predictor just shown 72-28 (WI-IND) chances, but I disagree, and I come here to vent my disagreement. Indian batting looks strong and they have been keeping up with RRR fairly well, no way public knows what it's voting on (but believe me I know, less than JSRAW though — I am humble where I should be) — I'll go with more like 40-60 chances.

Those win predictors mostly based on the stats and India didn't have good numbers when it comes to chasing big totals on T20 WC matches but that doesn't always replicate the real scenario. It is still 50/50 to me for the very same reason that India got deep and strong batting unit so they can chase down any total and the dew is also will be helpful with that.

India lost 2 wickets but going strong or even better than the required runrate at the moment. Good to see Samson is playing the responsible knock, he should keep doing it because a settled batter at the end will be really helpful.

Really not much experience? IMO, they have ample experience specially for a t20 match. Almost all of them playing rigours IPL matches for many seasons, facing highest level of attack, that too in the home ground. I dont think experience would be an issue.

In pressure game 190+ chase is not going to be easy.

 
Considering the dew factor it should be an easy chase. We have seen it in Pak vs Srilanka match, and frankly Westindies has much less of a bowling attack than Pakistan.

I am worried about our vulnerability against spin. Pakistan got individual bowling talent but they are a meme bowling attack with no planning and windies edge them here easily.

Dube is underrated as batter, earlier he used to be only spin basher but in last year or so his game against seam has improved a miles.
Think sanju has done his job, anything from here is a bonus because of his inconsistency, i am happy if he gives us quick 30-40 in powerplay. Team is carrying Abhishek atm but he's young kid so no issue at all, hopefully he's saving his best for the semis.

Still feel that we are yet to have a best day as team, in all department. For semis and the potential finals, all 3 cylinders has to fire up (batting, bowling and fielding).

Pakistan actually lost their opportunity to qualify for the final for the poor finishing. Their openers had made a great start. They should have scored at least 240 runs in the match. I wasn't expecting Sri Lanka to score above 200 runs. Shanaka did so well and made the game exciting in the last over. For Pakistan, Sahibzada Farhan has played so well in this world cup. I believe he will stay as the top scorer of this world cup even though Pakistan has no matches left.

Yes, Pakistan lost their last opportunity to be part of the tournament, but unfortunately, they were not able to sustain it and go back to Bangladesh for the series. They scored above 200, and I was sure that they would win this match by a high margin and continue their participation in the tournament. However, the Pakistani bowlers are no longer trustworthy, giving away more runs to Sri Lanka, and their only way of staying in the tournament was close to being lost. I am so disappointed by their performance, especially from Shaheen Shah, who does not know how to put pressure on their opponents. Instead of applying pressure, he himself succumbed to it.

This Super Eight match between the West Indies and the Indian team was quite interesting. In such a match, the West Indies team set a target of 195 runs, in which, looking at the performance of all the players, it seemed that they would show a similar performance in bowling as well. But they showed a little lag in bowling, due to which the Indian team, which is a heavier team than them and has also won many international matches, needed only one chance in this match to change the course of this match. I would still like Ishan Kishan to open the batting with Abhishek Sharma. Samson averaged less than 24 in T20Is before this match, while the corresponding figures are 33.58 and 29.40 for Abhishek and Ishan respectively. Moreover, Samson is in his 30s. I would no longer consider him as a young player. Both Abhishek and Ishan are in their 20s. Once in a blue moon Samson scores a half-century and that gets him in the playing XI for the next 12 months. And at the same time, talented young players are left outside since they don't have fans who bully the selectors unlike the case with Samson.

Young, old, Uncle doesn't matter for the next 2 matches because this is what the team is prepared for in the last 2 years to play this world cup and they are doing it. Maybe the selectors can pick the young ones to focus on the future of the team but for now they need to pick who performs. Abishek is not in any touch at all and even the runs he is scoring is coming off from miss timed shot. Sanju is talented but he lacks consistency for many reason but he did so he will be the one to feature in the next game as well.

To be honest, the performance of West Indies batsmen was not bad, but the main problem is that their bowling line is not good enough, they cannot put pressure on the opposition. When West Indies scored 195 runs which was not a bad target, but I had doubts beforehand that West Indies bowlers would not be able to stop India and in the end my doubts were right.

Anyway, Abhishek Sharma is not finding himself, how well has he done in this tournament? He has done well in only 1 match in the last 6 matches and has performed badly in 5 matches. So this should be considered in the next match. If Sanju Samson could not do well then chasing the target would have become very challenging for India. Anyway, in this tournament, only one team from Asia has qualified for the semi-finals and that team is India, so congratulations to them.
