As long as they perform well, no one is going to complain. But that doesn't take away the fact that they play pathetic cricket in ODI/Test formats. And I have massive respect to players such as Jason Holder and Shimron Hetmeyer, who chose to play for the national side rather than opting for some of the T20 franchises. That said, some of the players chose not to represent the West Indian side due to differences with the management. WICB is one of the most incompetent and corrupt governing bodies in cricket.

If PCB set this criteria of imposing heavy fine then players who have already earned enough money can easily afford such fines and still retain there spot like Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah. I think this is just stunt by PCB to divert attention from negligence done at its part like poor squad selection. PCB need to develop a road map for at least next 2 years to develop a team that can play good cricket in the long run. Current main players are given enough time but there were not able to prove there form.

Agree. West Indies is still quite strong in T20  format. The squad still has some hard hitting batsmen who are capable of batting at a smart strike rate. They have also performed well against india in the Super 8 match. But the main weakness of the  team is that the players cannot maintain consistency. If the performance of west indies batsmen is somewhat stable and consistent, they will become stronger. The players have the potential to perform better in T 20 format.

Abhishek Sharma is not in good form throughout this tournament but still he is such a good player that India won't drop him in semis because he has the capability to play a crucial knock at any time. WI were good with bat but they were not able to get the wicket of Sanju Samson who played an unbeaten innings of 97 runs. WI was not playing good cricket before this world cup but they showed good spirit in this world cup. India and England are up against each other in semi final and the contest will be interesting to watch. 

New Zealand International cricket team is very strong team because their opener are in excellent form and they played well in most of the matches and hopefully they will play well in this match and their captain is leading from the front which is good for that team. South Africa International team is top class team in this tournament because they didn't lose any match and hopefully they will play final and England can beat India but Indian team will try to win next win because they want to make record of winning the ICC tournament back to back and Sky has no form but they are winning in the tournament by cheating with other countries as we saw in the last match. SA team has proper batting and bowling which is best for that team.

PCB chief's ego got hurt after the heavy defeat to India, and that's why the players are paying the price. If someone is not performing well, then the most logical action to follow would be to drop those players and infuse fresh blood in the team. But then, the same should be applicable for these PCB guys as well. They are quite incompetent and are mostly political appointees. If they undergo an audit, skeletons will be tumbling out of the closet. Now imagine the case of players such as Sahibzada Farhan, who will be paying the fine after scoring 383 runs at an average of 76.60 in the tournament. Not a nice way to boost the morale of your players, IMO.

Yes, you are right Pakistan Cricket Board has made very poor team selections. Salman Ali Agha did not even deserve a place in the team and they have been made captain. Salman ali Agha did not delivered any performance in this T20 world cup. All rounder Shahdab Khan has been in the team for almost 10 years but still has not improved his bowling significantly. Shaheen Shah Afridi premium fast bowler seems to have forgotten his line and length and consided too many runs against India. These were the main characters who were supposed to be the most responsible. I think Instead of just imposing fines, they should be removed from the team and new young players should be given opportunities so the team can prepare properly for the upcoming ODI World cup.

A big decision has been taken by PCB, but it still leaves me disappointed. I've heard that each Pakistan player has reportedly been fined PKR 5 million. Personally, I feel the fines should have been more performance based. Players like Salman Ali Agha, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi should have fined their match fees based on their individual performances. In my opinion, they should respect those who performed and avoid applying the same penalty to everyone.

The fielders performed worse than the West Indies bowlers, especially missing a few good fielding moves that distracted the players. However, the bowlers' performance failed here, namely not being able to get Sanju Samson out. The innings of 97 runs off 50 balls does not reflect well on the performance of the West Indies bowlers.

Sanju Samson, the great player. We have seen that Sanju Samson always played there when team requires him and when the team  is under pressure he tried his best to help the team. 

Yesterday, he played an amazing and stylish knock of 97 runs off 50 balls, sadly he cannot scored his century even if he hit the six on the last ball it was not possible and went safely on the last ball , went for the four and I think century does not matter this innings is even more than a single century. I agree with you West Indies scored brilliant runs against India but they should have bowled a little harder then West Indies would have definitely reached the semi finals but India showed a stronger team than West Indies.Of course West Indies will perform well against other teams in the T20 series which will give them a chance to become stronger.Now the semi finals of the T20 World Cup are underway in which only 4 teams are left.There were many strong teams in the world Cup which could not reach the end of the world Cup.They should correct their mistakes and prepare themselves better than before in the upcoming matches so that they do not face defeat.It was really unfortunate that West Indies were eliminated from the World Cup.
