South Africa's batsmen chased this score easily. They lost only three wickets and the game was always under their control. Connor Esterhuizen made 45 runs and wasn't able to make half century but he remained not out.

We should address it as an easy victory for South Africa as they won by 7 wickets, but it wasn't really an easy victory for them. They played very safely to chase the small target, and it took almost 17 overs to chase the target of 92 runs only. This isn't a very common scenario of T20 format. I was expecting a big scoring match, but the pitch was completely different. The odds is in favour of New Zealand, still I'm expecting that South Africa will win the 2nd match too.

I agree that he was a star in new T20 world cup, but he seemed out of place when looked at next to skilled bowling of Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana in Bangladesh.
It is true that bosses of PCB made bad choice by putting him and other new players into team at once while skilled players such as Babar Azam were away due to being hurt. My opinion is that Farhan has shown himself to be long time batting player in local cricket but bosses have failed him by giving him spot that does not fit his now skills. Unless group has clear plan of adding T20 experts into ODI team, more bad losses are likely to be seen in future.

Opening pair has become a major headache for Pakistan. Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat were chosen for the role this time, and they made a combined contribution of 12 runs. Farhan in particular was in poor form through out the series. He made only 64 runs from 3 matches, while Sadaqat was a bit better at 99 runs. For some reason, Pakistani batsmen struggled against Bangladeshi medium pacers at Mirpur. Normally it is the spinners who pick up the wickets, but this time it was different. If not for Salman Agha, it could have  been much worse for Pakistan.

Hard disagree. Revenge in sports is almost always satisfying since it's entertainment at the end of the day. Why do you think India-Pak matches are so hyped up despite being one sided for eons now? Aus-Eng, Sri Lanka-Bangladesh etc....List goes on and on.

South Africa would absolutely lose it if they won some big ICC trophy against India in the future though your point about the Kiwis makes perfect sense since they are proper gentlemen and avoid fights almost always.

I meant in context of white ball bilaterals, nowadays it's just practice session to try out their bench strength. Also, where one side not even interested in sending their main team ( Proteas' did in their last test tour as well by sending their second string team to NZ)

These kind of revenge stories or narratives makes more sense in test cricket and ICC tournaments.

The Middle Eastern countries are better than East Asian countries because mostly Middle Eastern countries have adopted players who are well-trained and organized from their roots in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Just because of this, they take advantage and have better performance.

Mostly East Asian countries are going with native players. This needs some time for improving technique and skills for me. They could be on a good level in the coming 10 to 15 years because this is enough time to have good levels in leagues and stay on a good level from here.

Now ICC and ACC need to give them more tour matches, which allow them to have experience. East Asia is a big market that can make a good difference in cricket.

You are right, when Middle Eastern countries hire players for their national teams, it is seen that Indian region or Pakistan region hires retired players or players who have performed well in various good organizations from the same level teams to play for the national team. And if we talk about East Asian countries, I don't think the cricket teams there do these things, due to which we have never seen them do well in cricket. And besides, if we consider budgets, the budgets of Middle Eastern countries are much higher than East Asian countries.

New Zealand Women vs South Africa Women

Many players of South Africa Women team could not enter in double figures and no player took responsibility in this match And Devine took 4 wickets in this match when it was requirement of the team. Jess Kerr performance was great in this match because she took 2 wickets in this match and economy of that team was great in this match

  New Zealand did not turn out well for them and South Africa took advantage of this opportunity and won this match. From the New Zealand team, James Neesham has scored 26 runs and with him Mitchell Santner has scored 15 runs. Apart from them, all the other players got out after scoring a few runs. They have shown a very poor performance in today's match and have scored very few scores. They should have supported their team and scored more runs.  They did not do so and they lost today's match and in comparison to them, Connor Esterhuizen from the South African team remained not out after scoring 45 runs. He made an effort for his team and due to which they won the match and along with him Dian Forrester also remained not out after scoring 16 runs. These two players remained strong and achieved the target of this match, who won this match by 7 wickets and with 20 balls remaining. Today's target was very low and only a few players from South Africa achieved this target.

Pak have same kind of players in the past who played well in ODI format and they gave chance to him  as we know that Salman Ali Agha is good batter in one day format but he was given chance in ODI format and he is a captain of T20 cricket where he has no space in team . I think he did not play any match winning inning in T20 format but he is still captain.  We know that Sahibzada Farhan has no technique but he hit Bumrah so he has respect in Pakistan, otherwise he played against Nam , Netherlands and Sri Lanka and he  could not play against big teams . Sahibzada did not play ODI cricket and I think they will destroy the rhythm of that player which he got in the T20 World Cup because he should take rest and play only T20 format which is best for the country and also himself.

Absolutely shocking and embarrassing for a team that just played in the T20 cricket final. Anyway, chasing only 93 runs should never take 16.4 overs. It was a very slow and disappointing chase by South Africa. btw! both teams are missing some key players, but even then, South African emerging bowlers showed real promise. They have a lot of potential and looked very impressive.

New Zealand give disappointed batting performance in fron of home crowd. New Zealand was a strong team, they knocked South Africa out of the World Cup in the semifinal match. Now South Africa has perhaps taken revenge by defeating them by a huge margin on their home ground. South Africa Fabolous bowling performance in this match especially Nqobani Mokoena bowling spell was amazing to watch picking three important wickets by just giving only 26 runs and restricted New Zealand under 100 runs. New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner bowled a wonderful spell, taking one wicket in four overs and giving away only eight runs but the target was too low South Africa made it very easy. The second match of the series will be played tomorrow i hope New Zealand will bounce back in second match.

It was the 19-year old Nqobani Mokoena, playing his first ever match for South Africa who won the match for the Proteas. After Gerald Coetzee and Ottneil Baartman cleaned up the top and middle order, Mokoena destroyed the lower order to make sure that the Kiwis are restricted to a total of less than 100. Apart from the 26 from James Neesham, hardly any New Zealand batsmen got going during the first match. And while chasing down the target, Connor Esterhuizen took his time in reaching to his 45. Mitchell Santner had a wonderful spell of 4-0-8-1. If they had another 20-25 runs on board, then it would have been close.
