South Africa Women won the toss and chose to bat first in second T20 match and put up good score of 177/5 in their 20 overs. Current lead of five match series 1-0 after huge 80 runs win in first game has made New Zealand now chase this goal and has already started very fast making 51/2 in only 4 overs. Amelia Kerr, who got most runs in last game with 78 runs, is again at front with fast 29 runs while captain Sophie Devine is also at pitch with run rate  over 10.5. Though South Africa have lost their best player Laura Wolvaardt due to zero in the first game, they did much better today to make scary goal on this high scoring ground. The leftover 16 overs need a more 127 runs by New Zealand team, to win match and lead the series.

The advantage for Proteas is that New Zealand is down to the lower middle order and tail, and also Wiaan Mulder may bowl the final over. Devon Conway made 60 from 49 balls, but he hardly got any support from the other end. Nick Kelly and Mitchell Santner got to 20s, but they failed to convert these knocks to 40s or 50s. The scoring rate dipped once Nick Kelly was nabbed by Mulder. Still they should get to somewhere around 160.

New Zealand made a good comeback in today's match and set a good score for South Africa. New Zealand scored 175 runs in first inning of match by loosing sux wickets and give a fighting total South Africa. Devon Conway scored a wonderful inning of scoring a well deserved half century scored 60 runs from 49 balls and Josh Clarkson tailander play a aggressive inning of 26 runs from just 9 balls and assited New Zealand to scored 175 plus runs total on board. South Africa bowler George Linde bowl a classic spell picking three crucial wickets for his team but his economy rate is high 11 runs per over. I think New Zealand will win this match if they picked some opening wickets of South Africa batters

Keshav Maharaj's captaincy was extremely poor in this match. Wiaan Mulder had two more overs remaining and he was having figures of 2-0-14-2. But rather than tossing the ball to Mulder, Maharaj decided to bowl himself during the 20th over. And he conceded a total of 24 runs in that over, as Josh Clarkson and Cole McConchie made optimal use of his wayward deliveries. Having a spinner bowling the last over of the match can be extremely risky. Maharaj thought that since two tail-end batsmen were batting, he had the chance to pick a couple of easy wickets. Things didn't worked that way unfortunately for him.

In the end, New Zealand women were all out for 159 runs and South Africa women won by 18 runs and tied the series 1-1. Honestly, I thought New Zealand women would win but my expectations were wrong. In fact, both the opening batsmen of New Zealand women got out quickly due to which New Zealand women came under pressure, although Amelia Kerr started well but she could not play a big innings. On the other hand, New Zealand men team lost in the last match but won today. We saw that New Zealand batting line was very bad in the last match but South Africa batting line was very bad today. Since the series is tied 1-1, the next matches will be interesting and competitive.

Bowlers gave away 174 in 20 overs that is totally acceptable and I would say any decent team will be happy with that and try to chase it down, so instead of blaming the bowlers, the whole thing falls on the batters, just accept it was a day to forget for the Proteas and nothing else, since they equalized 1-1, which means the remaining 3 games will be exiciting, that is the only positive for the fanatics from this.

But South Africa team gave rest to big players and new team played the first match and they lose this match which doesn't matter . Linde was only person who made score in this match and he took 1 wicket in this match and no other player of SA team could play well in this match. Conway gave good start to his team and they made good target in this match which was expected in this match And no regular bowlers of SA team have in this squad and that is their C or D team.
