Did amazon guys cancelled their contract with the newzealand or what? Last i heard they had 2-3 year contract with Kiwis for streaming rights but can't find NZ vs SA on Amazon.

Hotstar also had some contract for the SA series but nothing there as well. Fancode hi karega sara kaam.

Amazon ki streaming quality gazab hoti waise, better than any other service. Hotstar I rate lowest.

There are lot of injury updates already, and I just read that Ishan Kishan will be leading the SRH in the absence of Cummins. I'm not sure how effective as a captain he will be and he can maintain the same brand that SRH were playing?

And I agree with you, that players should have settled down but I must tell that bowling of Lockie Ferguson, which gave him only 9 of runs, was so steady that easy big hits became thing of not possible.
In my view, South Africa had made mistake and played fame of ground to score high points instead of seeing real grass and bounce on the field. You are correct, in the end, without trusted hitter to keep middle overs together Proteas were in mess, and they have to work out better mix to save series.

Don't know what happened to them after the first match. They absolutely steamrolled New Zealand in the first match, only to get whacked in the next two matches and losing the series by a margin of 1-2. Keshav Maharaj's captaincy was poor throughout the series. I would like someone more aggressive to be the skipper. Maybe Wiaan Mulder or Gerald Coetzee. On the other hand, the Kiwi skipper was impressive (Mitchell Santner). His tactics were spot on, and he also contributed with the ball. Also need to mention about Ben Sears. He was impressive, picking up a total of 5 wickets in three matches.

The match has been finished and the way New Zealand played was really magical, they only lost the single game so far in this series and that was the first match but after that they made many changed in their plans and really focused on their crucial and non-crucial factors that we can analyses from their game play, today bowling first and some early wickets helped them to take the upper hand in the game and dominate the match, hopefully in the next match we will see the same.

Keshav Maharaj has blamed inexperience as a reason for the series defeat. But in that case what will explain his poor form? Anyway, the series is not yet lost. Two more matches are remaining, and in case the Proteas can win both of them, then they can secure the series by a margin of 3-2. At the moment they are trailing by 1-2. If they really want to have a chance of winning this series, then Maharaj need to be dropped first. He has conceded tons of runs so far in the first three matches. And what is the point in including so many spinners in the XI, when the pitch favors the pacers?

You are correct when you say that 136/9 was too low to be strong in third match especially against opening two of Devon Conway and Tom Latham of New Zealand who had made 96 runs together, enough to set speed.

Even as I agree it must be made clear that New Zealand did not actually go 3 wickets down before goal, but 2, with Latham being left not out on 63 runs. I think South Africa is in trouble since they have been trying to play power cricket on fields that need more calm and more skill to play against spin.

THE whole South African side is totally new and I think they played well. No de Kock,Markram, Miller etc while New Zealand side have so much experienced player. The result was already obvious. South African won only one match which is good for new players. Many teams including Pakistan, Africa is now testing new batsman. Giving opportunity to new players are always good but the in form experience presence will gives more confidence..


Today I was reading Dussen comments in the series loss. He told that coach always trying to change the position of players which affect the batting. I think the main reason for South Africa loss was batting.

South Africa won the first match because New Zealand team got out for just 91 runs and South Africa chased that small target in 16.4 overs after losing 3 wickets. You are right in saying that batting of South Africa is not good throughout this series and if this pattern continuous in remaining two matches then it won't be possible for South Africa to save this series. Still two more matches to be played in this series and South Africa can win this series only if they win both of these games.

Issue is they sent completely new guys, ideally it should've been mix of experienced and inexperienced players even if it's a ratio of 4/7.
