I never imagined Quetta Gladiators would lose the match after scoring  79 runs in just 7 overs from the opening pair. They batted atrociously. Except for the two openers, rossouw and McDermott were able to bat somewhat well. Even then, Rossouw scored 25 runs from  21 balls. He batted  very slowly. Hasan nawaz batted like the most idiot. He  scored only 19 runs from 24 balls. Nawaz could not bat even at a strike rate of 100.

Karachi  was able to secure the victory in the match due to hasan ali's incredible bowling. Hasan gave away  27 runs in 6 overs. But he took 4 important wickets. Haasan ali took the wickets of Saud shakeel, Rossouw, Curran and nawaz.

He's wk batter and squatting 20 overs behind wickets is not an easy feat when you are in your mid 40s, it's taxing af so i feel for dhoni.

Inability of Quetta Gladiators to chase 181 runs shows that they have major problem of lack of middle batters especially when they are supposed to win. Smart bowling play of Hasan Ali in Karachi Kings changed whole game since he was not only able to get four main wickets but also kept the score at very low point that forced Quetta to take very risky and desperate swings.
Even though Moeen Ali made great and fast turn in Karachi, game was mostly about which team would be able to handle stress of middle overs. It seems, Quetta tends to mentally become confused once they lose first wickets in big run, where they build safe shell around them and cannot get out of it.
