Winning a match against India on a batting-friendly ground is a tough task for any cricket team in the world. In recent years, they have taken various steps to strengthen their batting lineup, one of which is to play as many matches as possible on batting-friendly grounds. Especially for T20s, India plays on batting-friendly grounds in their own country. If you look at the results of their last few home series, you will understand that they host matches on pitches where 200+ runs are easily seen and even if the opposition team sets a target of 250 runs, it is not safe.

Since India is getting the advantage of their home grounds in New Zealand, batting there is not a difficult task for them. India is stronger than any batting lineup on these pitches. If the conditions were different, New Zealand might have been ahead.

To be honest, I was looking forward to watching this match because India had won two matches of the five-match T20 series and West Indies had won two matches and it can be said that this series has been a flood of runs, similarly, West Indies have won despite chasing a huge target. Agreed. These thrillers are more entertaining than the 220+ matches these days if you ask me. T20 format is unpredictable till the end unless result is way too obvious which is why I predicted India would end up on the right side somehow due to the smaller target.

Kiwi fielding has truly degraded quite a bit recently. 1 more win and this series goes to India. Expected this series to be more competitive, but we never know since they could bounce back well.

No doubt this is very important for both sides, bowling sides and batting sides if a team played outstanding batting then the responsibility delivered to the bowlers how they tackle this total for the team and how they work to win the match. In this match New Zealand team played  outstanding batting but their bowlers could not perform meaningful performance for them. This is the reason of lost the match.
On the other hand Indian team has strength, they have experience they have power hitter players and also they have talent so this was challenging for New Zealand team. but unfortunately they could not faced this total and lost the match very badly. This was the first match out of five so, New Zealand team has opportunity to come back in the game and win the series. If they improve their bowling then the result can be different on their performance base. So they should need to improve their mistakes because a good team learn from their mistakes and improve it in the next match or opportunity.

India were 72 for 5 and yeah, I thought the same we were going down on this onw but Naman, Tilak and Reddy had their plans to make it more interesting and NZ fielders helped them too. If I am not wrong, they dropped Naman on 1 and a few half chances were missed as well. Trying to play Vaibhav in no.3 isn't working, better he can wait these games rather than playing and giving his wicket cheaply that will greatly affect his confidence, which is much harder to regain.

Unfortunately the day was not good for the New Zealand, otherwise they gave tough time to the Indian team at start. Bowling wise New Zealand performaned well even Indian's team top finest batsman could not maintain their momentum. At first it thought that game was completely under the control of New Zealand but then Tilak Verma came in and changed the whole mentality of the rivals. He calmly faced the fierce bowling attacks but couldn't lost his confidence over the bat. His contribution with 51 runs helped his team came out from stress of loss. Here New Zealand failed to collect this important wicket that's proved costly for them. Otherwise their strategy and effort were nice, but this is shows that how much each wicket is important and how much a team need vigilant throughout the game. However Indian team won the match by the gap of 4 wickets and celebrated their unexpected victory today

Ind had a very calm demeanor on the ball when the pressure was on and this can make a difference in a close series. Nz  will have to think about how they perform the crucial overs, particularly when defending a total and when they attempt to stop a partnership building. But India have winning two consecutive games and shouldn't be overconfident as Nz have the talent to come back. It will be a vital test of both teams ability to adapt for both the next game, and for the Black Caps if they have the chance to change the momentum of the series. They also need to pay more attention to their batters rather than leaving the task to the lower order. But Nz have a chance to cause trouble to Ind in the remaining matches if partnership building is done better and they have to make better use of their bowling resources.

New Zealand lost the second game of this series as well. India has dominated with two consecutive victories, but New Zealand still has a chance to win the series even after this bad start. What does New Zealand need to do if they want to become the champions of this series? I think they need to improve their bowling because they lost the game because of it. No doubt the pitch did not support the bowlers, but if they make good pairings of bowlers and use each bowler's potential accurately at the right time, New Zealand can win the game.
