It was pretty exciting match though, but mostly the NZ lost due to their bad fielding efforts rather than their bad batting, this is actually a good score on this pitch but somehow India managed to come at the top despite all the early odds were against them.

We need more of those high-thriller games rather than high scores on flat decks.

Unfortunately the day was not good for the New Zealand, otherwise they gave tough time to the Indian team at start. Bowling wise New Zealand performaned well even Indian's team top finest batsman could not maintain their momentum. At first it thought that game was completely under the control of New Zealand but then Tilak Verma came in and changed the whole mentality of the rivals. He calmly faced the fierce bowling attacks but couldn't lost his confidence over the bat. His contribution with 51 runs helped his team came out from stress of loss. However Indian team won the match by the gap of 4 wickets and celebrated their unexpected victory today

New Zealand was in good control, but Tilak Verma and Nitesh Reddy changed the match momentum in Indian favor. They are surely doing an impressive job and have a bright future with the Indian T20 squad in the long run because they are performing consistently, which is also giving a good boost to India after every win. 181 was looking good total, with early wickets also helping them have a good chance of winning, but suddenly these two have done their job for their team and have a second win in this series.

Now they will be playing pressure-free games, which will give them confidence and a good chance for securing a win in this series. Matt Henry's injury was a big setback for New Zealand because if he were available for bowling, then surely it's going to be a problem for India, but now it's all part of the game and also a part of the past with India on the course of winning.

This time New Zealand also did not play well and strongly, due to which it was a defeat as well as a poor game of New Zealand, which will lead to their defeat in this match as well. India has actually proven in these two matches that they are so strong that they can defeat a team like New Zealand and we have seen their situation in these two matches. The New Zealand batsmen had given a target of 180, which was not strong for India in any way, so India succeeded in it easily till the end. India has also been hit by a tough bowling attack because India has achieved this target of 181 before the last ball, which proves that New Zealand has failed in batting and worked hard in bowling. The Indian batsmen have also done some negligence and lost 6 wickets but the target was achieved.

And criticizing Bhuvi alone isn't fair, considering almost everyone who bowled in this match went for runs and they all conceded like 10 runs on average per over.

Bhuvi is making comeback and it was first match so critising individuals won't be a productive.

But as bowling unit, they are not doing well and batters are doing the heavy lifting. We'll be in trenches if someday batters shit the bed.

Both teams are struggling with bowling it is just not India. India is winning because they have batting depth. I still feel we need to give Bhuvi more opportunities. He has, after a long gap, played only two matches on pitches which I feel are not at all helping the bowlers. He is known for his swing bowling and we will see him getting early wickets as soon as the conditions are good.

Kiwi fielding has truly degraded quite a bit recently. 1 more win and this series goes to India. Expected this series to be more competitive, but we never know since they could bounce back well.

There are still three matches left, and India need to win just one more to take the series. It is highly likely India will win from this situation.

India were 72 for 5 and yeah, I thought the same we were going down on this onw but Naman, Tilak and Reddy had their plans to make it more interesting and NZ fielders helped them too. If I am not wrong, they dropped Naman on 1 and a few half chances were missed as well. Trying to play Vaibhav in no.3 isn't working, better he can wait these games rather than playing and giving his wicket cheaply that will greatly affect his confidence, which is much harder to regain.

The fielding was terrible from New Zealand. I saw them drop multiple catches, not just Naman Dhir. They dropped Sanju Samson and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as well, along with leaking some boundaries in the deep. If India wants Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the team, he should open the batting, and dropping Sanju Samson to number three is the best solution.

I think trying VS in the lower batting position is a way to test whether he can play down the order. It is evident that India is trying its players or preparing themselves for the WC. We have seen Indian players also dropping catches and doing sloppy fielding in important games.

New Zealand cricket is  looking like dead because they lose last T20 series against IND and they also lose the 2 matches of the series in the T20 format and IND is best in that format and they chased in the both matches. All players of India are in form and they are giving their best for the team.

Although another defeat but New Zealand spinners were good with the balls. Team was on improving phase but much more efforts are required to secure the win. However New Zealand produced very interesting game for the audience,untill the last overs it was not certain which team would catch the results. New Zealand top three players were dismissed too early at low scores that was hard to believe, then Phillips and Jacob both take the responsibility of lifting the target. While their spinners made initial stage difficult for the Indian especially Santner was the one who caught the limelight by taking 4 important wickets. Last overs were highly tensed but then Naman Dhir and Tilak Verma took the charge or hit scores aggressively when they noticed that only few balls remained. Due to lost the grip on last three players or few no-balls proved costly. Zealand lost that game which was close to be winning.

My prediction was correct for this series, I knew that if NZ could not wins the first game, then they would lose all the games in this series. IND has actually become a powerful team with a nice coach and preparation, they have kept NZ behind in every game. In this last game today, the total runs that NZ players have scored together was 198 and all of them were completed by IND players in 13 overs. The IND team is really to play very thoughtfully, if they continue to rise like this, then AUS, NZ, ENG will also become like ordinary and small teams for them. And the powerful of the NZ team has now become very low compared to IND.

The PR did their job, the paid press did too. I will not say anything against him before the series comes to an end. We still can wait for another 2 matches and see whether he can justify his comeback. I personally do not like his style of bowling, which is more dependent on his ability to swing the ball. He is known to leak runs but was also good at taking wickets initially in the T20 format. It is just the beginning for him to experience how modern cricket has changed.

Agreed. These 2 lefties were having a party out there and I thought they would finish the entire job themselves. Abhishek's century celebrations as usual were entertaining. If they can improve their bowling attack, this Indian T20 team would become monstrous.

India could potentially whitewash the Kiwis in this series primarily thanks to their stellar batting lineup. This is exactly why I felt they would have probably won the decider against the Windies in their last series if rain hadn't interfered.

Today, India completed the target of 199 runs in just 13 overs due to Abhishek Sharma's dashing batting. In other words, looking at India's batting, it seems that they will not allow New Zealand to win a single match on their tour of New Zealand. Where India completed the target of 199 runs in just 13 overs in one match today, how will New Zealand win in the next matches? But I somehow feel that India's aggressive batting in T20 is the best in the world.

He's about to touch 37 soon so he needs to produce atleast something and give selectors some reasons to trust him.

In the end, investing on 36-37 yo player won't make sense if he's not performing. Many would prefer young players to fail and learn during the process instead of giving long rope to older ones.
