According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I know that I came after long time as I had health issues for which my doctor suggested to keep distance from things like smartphones and laptops as the rays were not suitable for me. I'm here after I completely recovered from my problems, trauma had stopped and I can use these things back again.

Proving that you were previously accepted in signature campaigns barely stands as a proof that your account is of high quality since the advent of merits. You've earned 0 merits at the moment and with that logic, your account isn't as valuable as you think it is. Having said that, taking accounts as collateral should be avoided anyway. This request is unlikely to get filled unless you're selling your account.

Well, if you feel his proof is adequate, go ahead and give him a loan. After all, if he defaults, you would have a fair quality legendary account to add to your inventory. One that has a post history of being a bounty manager.  Wink

How am I being an idiot? I suggested that you go ahead and give him the loan.  Cheesy Sorry, but my broke ass doesn't have .06 BTC to spare ATM. (Besides, as you can tell from the red tag that I gave you, the commerce of bitcointalk accounts aint exactly my bag.)

Anyone can be marked as an idiot if s/he go against VINSIN. I have been marked as an idiot on the telegram, A little up of your post someone marked as an idiot. I think VINSIN is a great person who can call anyone as an idiot. So, don't be a worry for being called as an idiot by VINSIN.

You mean there is an outstanding loan with you? Is the repayment date over yet?

I can't sign a message because the address is from blockchain.com's wallet, but I can prove that this address had been in use since 2016.
I guess you can if you still have the access of the wallet.

Get the seeds and recover the account using a desktop wallet then sign the address. It should work.

I'm not saying this is an attempted scam, but damn, that line I bolded sounds like a pile of fly-infested horse shit!  On the other hand, Bpip doesn't show a change of email or password, so it's unlikely the account has changed hands.  Not impossible, but unlikely.

You are too much reputed and you are a higher ranked and also old member than me. But you gave a loan and you have not given any trust rating why? The op has no proof that you gave a loan. In this case, any lender may consider op as fresh and then allow loan and this way by taking multi-loan op can do scam. Please always try to give neutral trust once you give a loan to any person and on this way you can save yourself as well as other community members.

I'm genuinely curious... Would you mind telling us what sort of health issue would prevent this? I know that radiation and electromagnetic waves from these devices aren't good in general, but I'm just wondering what condition(s) would be particularly aggravated by them. Thanks.

What happened: OP is trying to scam!
Why I am thinking that?:
Before your judgment please read my full post where I will provide several reasons behind my thinking.
1. Op has an open loan. See prof from archive link: https://archive.fo/AYRXG#selection-6175.0-6293.66
2. Op has taken a loan but there is no proof on his posts: https://archive.fo/qPdr0
3. There is a long gap according to op it is for his health issue. See archive: https://archive.fo/qPdr0#selection-513.0-513.297 But I do not think it is correct I think OP is lying. Why do I think so? Let me describe: Op received negative trust on 2016-09-21 but then game-protect was not a DT so op continued to use bitcointalk forum. But later game-protect became DT so op marked as a scammer and stopped to use bitcointalk forum by this profile. And recently game-protect excluded from DT so O again active and trying to take a loan and then flew away. Where already an open active loan which already told and still trying to take a loan. There might have more reason I will update more once I find them.

4. Op has no staked BTC address or removed those and as a result OP cant proof ownership by signing bitcoin signature.
5. After a long gap, Op started posting and all post to take loan.
6. Op is trying to take a loan by giving the account as collateral or without collateral.

OP is who he claims to be, I am in contact with him. I don't think he is wanting to scam. That said, he would find it hard to get a loan now.

Okay, then can you please tell why you have no proof of the current active loan? Why there is no post or no trust rating on OP's profile.

Waiting on repayment, all good otherwise.

Fair enough - I will add some trust. The loan is from a while ago.

@marcotheminer, I would not be as passive if I found myself in your situation.  Here's a member that has owed you money "from a while ago" asking for another loan.  If he already owed me money that would bother me, unless...  Did you and 2double0 agree he would borrow the money to repay you?  Or is there something even more nefarious going on?  In all honesty, your behavior is painting you in a suspicious light.

They were given as a proof just to show that I still hold that address with me. The first thing I learned here after coming back is merits, and I'll earn them. So please don't be bothered about the same.

Why should lenders avoid taking accounts as collateral?
I know we can't attach any value to them, still these accounts take too much time and work to reach that rank, shouldn't it be considered a valid thing to be taken Bitcoins against? And when I'm giving something that is related to BTC only, why can't I be lent against it?

its more than a proof idiots, he tried ....

Well, if you feel his proof is adequate, go ahead and give him a loan. After all, if he defaults, you would have a fair quality legendary account to add to your inventory. One that has a post history of being a bounty manager.  Wink

actually as fact, you being idiot, please quote for refference, a bounty manager is winning just on 1 campaign more than you will ever win a month of work.

so stop being idiot, even if the icos he has mentioned are useless, the user tried to show that he is worth it

I appreciate your support and thanks to you bro but please don't make such offensive comments which may hurt other's emotions. The word "idiots" should not have been used as you tried to explain your point of view, but don't be aggressive.

Sorry on behalf of that user, but I suppose there's no meaning in going paranoid before a user. You gave your opinion in your way, and seeing that he's trying to offend shouldn't really bother you if your intention was just to make users beware (that's what you were trying, huh?) He gave his opinion, you gave yours. That's it.

How am I being an idiot?
Anyone can be marked as an idiot if s/he go against VINSIN. I have been marked as an idiot on the telegram, A little up of your post someone marked as an idiot. I think VINSIN is a great person who can call anyone as an idiot. So, don't be a worry for being called as an idiot by VINSIN.

I see VINSIN didn't say anything to you, so why are you getting offended?

Open loan with me. Do not lend unless sufficient collateral is secured.
You mean there is an outstanding loan with you? Is the repayment date over yet?

It was out of Bitcointalk, partial repayments were made but didn't end up in full. But the loan I'm asking for, has nothing to do with Marco's repayment as I strictly want to use it for trading. I have been in Marco's contact and he's got no objection for this and he just wanted to let everyone know about it and asked everyone to lend only after taking sufficient collateral in possession, you can confirm this with him here, or should I ask him to do it?

I can't sign a message because the address is from blockchain.com's wallet, but I can prove that this address had been in use since 2016.
I guess you can if you still have the access of the wallet.

Get the seeds and recover the account using a desktop wallet then sign the address. It should work.

Aye, how can you be so intelligent? It's clearly written that the address was from blockchain.com (formerly blockchain.info) wallet and they gave me addresses to use but I didn't get any addresses with private key.

5. After a long gap, Op started posting and all post to take loan.
6. Op is trying to take a loan by giving the account as collateral or without collateral.

You judging me so easily, huh? Now it's my turn:
1. Your archive has got no proof except that comment by Marco.
2. Yes, I didn't say about it but discussed with Marco and he said that he got no objection with me taking this loan, but will let everyone know about the previous one due to which he commented here.
3. My health related issues were real and you can also confirm about this with Marco. But, when did game-protect became a DT member? I never knew this. And about his trust feedback: I don't give a fuck! That's because we stopped promoting betcoin after seeing many accusations popping against them. And it wasn't just me alone who got that trust, he gave to all those users who were in betcoin signature campaign.
4. It's true that I can't prove my ownership by 'SIGNING A MESSAGE' here because I've lost everything due to hard disk issues and once again, it's not me alone who suffered through such problem. But I've had a username set for my blockchain wallet and I remembered the password which made it possible for me to be able to get loan coins on an address which was used since 2016. Still, you need any proof?
5. Uhmm, I knew that it would look scammy and it really is a stupidity I committed by asking for a loan straight after a comeback. But why are you reiterating that word "post gap" and "long gap"?
6. Never asked for a no collateral loan, but I left it on lender's choice if they want to keep my account as collateral or not.

OP is who he claims to be, I am in contact with him. I don't think he is wanting to scam. That said, he would find it hard to get a loan now.
Okay, then can you please tell why you have no proof of the current active loan? Why there is no post or no trust rating on OP's profile.

That's because it was a loan taken on mutual understanding and it was out of Bitcointalk, so it's meaningless for a trust rating to take place unless I scammed him. He just wanted everyone to know about it, and it is a coincidence that I was not online and he posted it before me. I was going to tell about it and make him confirm about it but I didn't come online.

Waiting on repayment, all good otherwise.

https://archive.is/fOelr

So, you're doubting him to be me, or me pretending to be him... Any solid proof or puking just to add some more spicy stuff? For only a year that I left the forum, all members have become news reporters, meh... Great for them.
Psssss.... I'm too confused on this. This account is mine, how many times do I need to clarify this? I know I've got nothing to prove, but if you think that a person who lent me has got no objection from me to take another one for different purpose paints him red under your radars, I can't seriously do anything to help you with your mentality.

Ahhhhh... Too much explanation given, now time to rest.
If anyone interested in lending, please let me know.
Others can check my history that except Marco (from whom I took a loan ^a while ago^ outside Bitcointalk), I never had any loans nor issues with anyone out here.

I have an offer and that is trying to take part in a good signature campaign and work hard. And then you would be able to earn the profit. In the meantime make your profile more reputed and stake your bitcoin wallet. If you really in need loan then people may consider your case. Base on your profile condition I do not think anyone will give you any loan without collateral.

A question to you: was 2double0 owned by you? If yes then please post the details when it was sold and provide any details which will help community to believe that 2double0 is not in your possession.

2double0 was never owned by anyone except me. It was true that I gave it to Marco as collateral long time ago in case of a loan, but he released it back to me to let me earn through signature and repay. I did make some partial repayments but it is still not closed. Anyways, it was a loan out of Bitcointalk as previously described.

I am confused both of marcotheminer and 2double0. marcotheminer advocate to 2double0. It seems both accounts is owned by the same owner. A lot of suspension suspicion on their behavior.

Anyways, it was a loan out of Bitcointalk as previously described.

Then it basically never existed and doesn't count as proof of anything.

2double0 is not my account and does not belong to me.

Then maybe you can lend your friend the BTC.

Nobody is advocating anybody. Marco doesn't want me to give my account to anyone as he released it to me to repay him by earning here. I'm not advocating him, he is correct at his place and I'm correct at mine.
And yes, it is not suspension, it's suspicion. FTFY.
Can't really understand that when I stopped asking you for loan, why are you dipping your nose inside when you are so confused and don't really understand that I'm the one and only owner of 2double0 and that I owe some BTC to Marco which is why he expects me not to give my account as collateral.

Then it basically never existed and doesn't count as proof of anything.

Too smart?
Well, that's really good because if there is something that never existed only and doesn't count as as proof of anything, then it shows that I never took a loan from anyone (based on your comment). So, am I not eligible to get a loan for the first time here?

I have proof of the loan. It's being repaid.

Now, if someone wants to loan him again. I have no objections - he is asking it for a trade that I would make myself too. The account cannot be given as collateral though.

A question to you: was 2double0 owned by you? If yes then please post the details when it was sold and provide any details which will help community to believe that 2double0 is not in your possession.
I am confused both of marcotheminer and 2double0. marcotheminer advocate to 2double0. It seems both accounts is owned by the same owner. A lot of suspension suspicion on their behavior.

Nobody is advocating anybody. Marco doesn't want me to give my account to anyone as he released it to me to repay him by earning here. I'm not advocating him, he is correct at his place and I'm correct at mine.
And yes, it is not suspension, it's suspicion. FTFY.

Marco gave you loan there was no proof of that on your profile. I told and where you found that marco doesn't want. You behaved like an account seller. Where you asked how much you can give me by taking account as collateral. Also on the same time you and marco trying to take a loan where Marco was also a lender. And I am posting here so that lender can know about you. Its all community members duty to stop or minimize scam. Can you send the link of taking the loan from marco and can you prove your ownership by sign message which is quoted or unedited post before taking the loan? If you can then no one will ask you anything about who is the real owner.

OP is who he claims to be, I am in contact with him. I don't think he is wanting to scam. That said, he would find it hard to get a loan now.
Okay, then can you please tell why you have no proof of the current active loan? Why there is no post or no trust rating on OP's profile.

I keep that separate, it's a long term loan and near entirely out-of-forum.

Received, updated the OP and thanks a lot to you brother.
There have been many users making me think that this 0.05 BTC is going to prove a living in my life and they were just too frustrated they have become real world news reporters trying to gain some fame in the ongoing waves of ^suspicion^ while trying to become a scam-buster.

But thanks for letting me show the fact that I'm the owner of my account and I've proved it to my lender.  Grin

Thanks a lot to all of the critics, it gave me extra confidence that I'm a valuable member of the forum and I will get it. Now as I've got it, I'll show you people that I can repay as well, and those who were just speaking too much out of thin air will just regret. Locking this thread as I cannot entertain any more bullshit.
