Hardware wallet portfolio tracker – all coins/tokens (using XPUB ?)

I have a hardware wallet (e.g. Trezor or Ledger) and I need some quick and simple way to get complete list of all coins/tokens (e.g. 5 NEO, 14343 XRP, 31 CARDANO, ....) and their balances stored on the hardware wallet.

I thought there should be already some portfolio tracker app using XPUB key for this but can’t find such app so far ...

Also I read that with XPUB it is possible to track just some coins like Bitcoin and similar, but it is not possible to track ALL different coins/tokens on the hardware wallet.

Can you please advise if there is an app for this?

Or if not how would you handle this?

The Ledger has its own portfolio manager called Ledger Live. You can see all your coins and tokens there. Balances, recent transactions, value of each coin individually and the total balance...etc.  You can also set it up to show you the price based on a particular exchange.

That's correct however the problem is that:

1/
It does not support all the coins.
It supports just some of them, but others are not supported (e.g. NEO) and need to be accessed with their official wallets.

2/
To see balances for different coins, you need first add these coins into the ledger portfolio.
I am looking for some app which will list all the coins and balances just by importing XPUB key (if possible?)

You are asking for probably much more balances, but this will help you with most common coins. You just need to know the addresses

AFAIK there is no app that can do that for you. Your best alternative would be to manually add the address that you use into a portfolio app like Coinstats. The problem is, you need to pay if you want to add more than 2 address.

The coins supported here is limited and I'm pretty sure we also need to manually add the address, not the xpub.

you can't do it with "xpub" because all your addresses for every coin (if BIP44 is used) are derived from hardened keys under different paths. so you either have to have the child or extended derived xpubs for each coin at the specific path (e.g. xpub at m/44'/888'/0'/0 for NEO) then import all of them to get their child public keys (keys:m/44'/888'/0'/0/0, m/44'/888'/0'/0/1, m/44'/888'/0'/0/2,...). or you have to give it your master private key at path m so that it can derive all these different paths with their hardened indexes. but trusting your master private key to an application like that is not wise!

From what other mentioned above which will be difficult for you to use xpub, so I'd rather you to use simply the ledger live for the moment and some coin trackers.
