Part of the point. A Muslim in America is trying to convert America into Islamic States, or he is trying to form Islamic States in America. This is against the Oath of Office he is required to take in the American Government. But if he isn't trying to do this, he is essentially setting aside Islam, because Islam requires that he do this Islam-State thing, violently if necessary.

why not just make the mosques in the middle east louder to a point that they would also be hearable in new york?

If you are talking about what Muslims want, they all want everyone to become a Muslim. The more faithful Muslims want all the infidels to die. Some Muslims haven't thought about what they want.
The point is, a Muslim in USA governmental office is either a traitor to the USA or to Islam. Maybe both.
