Yes, coins die because the developer no longer works to develop coins. We can see that this happened because it was difficult to get investors. With the condition of the main market prices being very collapsed, of course, it has a negative impact on all Altcoin.

There are even coins that are not in cmc dead.
very bad, coins don't have volume at all and I found it a lot in the forkdelta.
even I have it in my wallet.

The number of coins and tokens certainly makes anyone confused, investors continue to decrease while the coins continue to grow so as to make a lot of coins die, we must be good at choosing coins that have good prospects in the future so we don't lose.

What makes a coin dead? I would say when it has no active nodes, no trading volume and no development, in that order. Anyone have a different definition?
My second question, why does CMC still list these coins!?!?!?
CoinMarketCap does not care about coin death, the task of CoinMarketCap is to monitor the volume and provide information from existing coins, whereas if the coin is dead and there is no price movement then it is not a mistake of CoinMarketCap, you can ask the founder of the coin directly.

I completely agree with your opinion, but many users of cryptocurrency hope for objectivity cmc and in my opinion, the coinmarket team should constantly monitor coins that are still relevant in the cryptocurrency market.

in my opinion the coinmarketkap shows really topical coins and their development by price and capitalization. I think that this is the most important resource for all users of the cryptocurrency market.

You are right. every month various coins are promoted into the market. ICO is an important part of building investor confidence, but now investors prefer to create money rather than building a strong market.

They only provide information about the price changes or movement, but the deepest information that are most relevant will not be found in the site.
Coinmarketkap is one popular site because people loves to check the price constantly but they'll only see it's movement and not the reason behind,  coinmarketkap has a system to follow, they will add or remove coins if it within the criteria.

Dead coins usually have no volume and at this time we were able to see that weak coins won't survive longer.
Now, if you see a coins that still surviving now despite the bear, they are likely the coins that would give you a good profit in the future.

Dead coins are coins that can't be exchanged. If the blockchain is dead, the coin is dead. ERC20 tokens are more difficult to kill as they depend on the Ethereum blockchain.

Coins die because they don't get investors. In such conditions, there are so many dead coins and after being registered in the exchange market. This is certainly very worrying because Crypto fans are still very large. Teams and Developers must be active and focused on finding investors.

If Developers really serious about develop their project, investor will came easily. But in fact some project not really success in market. Even have investor and dev not really develop their project and look like leave their project, the token will not have volume in market and be dead coin.

I have a dead coin in my wallet, that's the result of a bounty, actually it's really a shame because it only becomes a display, so the coins die because the developer runs away without thinking about the investor's feelings, the developer leaves the project to cheat, once the funds are received run, cruel indeed

A little correction. between coins and tokens very different tokens do exist in etherdelta but coins cannot be exchanged etheredelta. and indeed today there are many tokens and coins that do not have volume on the exchange

You just said it yourself because that is what a dead coin and most of the dead coins was shitcoins made from ICO after the development team pump them and dump. Lots of these coins get listed on the market cap and yet no more investors because investors are afraid of losing their money so they just dump it then after the price plummet.

of course because if a coin is no longer developing it is likely that the coin will not last long or be attracted by investors and traders again. because the dead coin doesn't have a good value anymore

When project team member going to offline and when regularly there are no update publish about which project. All of the Investors and hunters day by day selling their asset and never buy again that's why one day trade voulme going to empty. Coinmarketcap fault is they didn’t remove dead coin but in the other hand crypto exchange remove dead coin from their listing.

the elimination of coins from the exchange market which is considered CMC as an active reference is used as the decision maker to delete them, on the other hand, the clarity of project development is also an active determination, for example belugapay coins which are suddenly removed by CMC. but they are also imperfect and lose a lot of things from monitoring their list of coins. Dead coins have two essence where they also still have active volume and not.

Yeah when the development is no longer visible, the user community is small, marketcaps don't move, just waiting for the time until that coin dies. most of them are small coins. almost every month there are coins that are delisted and then dead

Small coins that are worthless and will eventually be removed, I also keep dead coins that have been abandoned by the developer, this is indeed very painful but there is nothing that can be done. Only as a display and become rubbed ashes.

Mostly this coins when listed trade for some time like pump and dump, when they have dumped all on market they just leave it. This type of projects are lot of them. That is why it is told that just sell the coins when ever you get profit and dont see how high it goes after that. Be satisfy with the profit you get.
