Hi guys, So I have sent bitcoin from my Electrum wallet to a receiving address and the person on the other side has advised me that the transaction is not showing on there side.

The confirmations are still going up from my side currently at 237 confirmations and last night it was something like 165 confirmations.

I sent the bitcoin at like 17:56 on Friday night never had this take so long?

I have sent another person like £10 worth of bitcoin this was sent to a friend and all went through absolutely fine.

c6feff6a7e9132d28a534f2e5edd99c19fd05012a501ba1201c7cc3ee0a71d1c <<<< TXID that person states is not showing.

What can I do any help massively appreciated.

The said Transaction is clearly visible in blockexplorers and the output was already spent which means that he already received it.

If you're sure that the other's receiving address is: 132vDEYg3gAsA86eMxRcwsaQpfeUWZn7Le, there are couple of reasons why he didn't receive the bitcoins: [1] his wallet isn't synced or offline, [2] he is lying or [3] he's expecting a different coin [4] You might be a victim of a clipboard-hijacking malware/virus.

[1] Some users experience trouble connecting their Electrum client to any Server; if the Circle indicator on the Lower-left side of Electrum is Red, the client is offline.
[2] .......... just a possibility.
[3] There are couple of Bitcoin forks out there that share the same name and there's one in particular that is known for misleading newbies to believe that it is the real Bitcoin. The "person on the other side" might be using an old BCH wallet version that still uses "1" address.
[4] It's a well-known malware that changes the BTC address from your clipboard (Copy) into the hacker's address (Paste) to reroute that particular transaction. (Scan your PC using a reputable AV)

I think it's this one. OP's funds were spent already in this transaction, which consolidated many other inputs. I've checked a few of them, and they were all received on the same day. That makes me think the total of 1.6BTC is what the attacker stole in just a day.

Is there anyway to find out if this is the wrong address he sent me ?
You sent your Bitcoins to 132vDEYg3gAsA86eMxRcwsaQpfeUWZn7Le, is that the address the person gave you, or is it the address your computer shows you when you copy/paste another address?

That's normal: every new Bitcoin block that is found/created, adds one more confirmation to existing transactions.

That is the address i was sent mate, Copied that address into my electrum and sent the coin Sad
Did you manually verify the address I posted with the address the other person gave you? If so, it might be the other person has a clipboard hijacking virus instead of you.

General warning: Don't trust "copy/paste" when it comes to Bitcoin! Always verify the address. Don't just read the first 3 characters, check the start, the end, and a few characters in between.

If you have proof that the address you sent coins is identical the one sent to you by the recipient, then there are only two possibilities. First is that person is lying and your transaction is received, but he/she try to make you believe otherwise for reasons to send the same amount again - a classic scam. Second option is that recipient have clipboard malware as LoyceV say, so he/she give you wrong address, and theoretically he/she is right when says payment is not received.

Ask that person to check is that address actually part of his wallet, and what wallet he/she is using?

Unfortunately, you can’t. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible; once confirmed, they are gone.

*From Electrum wallet? Means you've sent it to the wrong wallet that you own?
If it is spendable/standard, just send it again to the correct recipient or sweep the private key to the right wallet; if it is watch-only, it's gone.

(next time, open a new thread and provide more info as described in the sticky: Tech Support Help Request Format)
