Having no idea what BTC pool is the most profitable, in practice?
I am not sure what pool to choose as well. So, I suggest uniting our forces and collect real, practical statistics all together, for our community prosperity. I made a free service for that,  please let me know what do you think! https://coinpoolrank.com/ (It seems that I am NOT advertising or selling anything, because the whole thing behind the link is free as in freedom).

I think you are fishing for google account names to try to hack the passwords and facebook account names to try to hack the  passwords.

I checked your link and the only way to join is via facebook and or google.

I am highly suspicious of that.

I should be able to sign in without facebook and or google.

I would report this and have it moved and or removed but I won't do that I will leave that up to mods.

Note to all there is a thread on pools that shows luck right here on bitcoin talk

I am highly suspicious of that.
I think you are too paranoid, I put fb & google login only just because it is easier, so I skipped the whole registration/authorization/passwords etc. system. That is exactly what Google & Facebook auth are designed for. Moreover, if your fb password is so easy to guess, you better deal with it instead of reporting false without any proofs.

The question is , why do you need users to register to use your website? it is silly. notice that you are not providing the users with ability to post or upload things to your website, therefore you should not worry about registrations.

the service you are providing is something close to whattomine ,coinwarz or anything mining-calculation related, you do not expect us to login to use such a service.

i am not accusing you for anything here, but just a word of advice, if you want to generate some profit, put some ads on the webiste. and let everybody use it without the need of registration.

edit: my bad, yes you do allow people to provide data, but still really not a good enough reason for registration. people don't get to make money posting fake results, neither registration ensure the integrity of the information they provide. thus i still think it's unnecessary.

appreciate the efforts tho.

i still think it's unnecessary.

Let me explain two things.

first, the idea is completely different from whattomine and so on. Because project's data is based on real statistics from real people. Let's say, facts. Imagine you provided 20TH during the day and got 0.05 BTC back from the pool. This data (20TH, 0.05BTC) is used for the project. Nor the advertisement from pool homepages or something like that. Accepted hashrate and profits are gathered, aggregated and used for the graph.

Second, why registration is mandatory. One of the core functions is an ability to leave a review for any pool, if and only if you proved that you are using it. And your hashrate with that pool will be an intergral part of your review. That's why.

Look I only wish I was paranoid  but facebook has had massive data breaches and if you want people from a site like this to join give a different option to log in.

to anyone that wants to use this service.
I advise you ro make a new  facebook account so if it is hacked it is not an issue.
Or make a new  google account so if it is hacked it is not an issue.

As for me, just strong password and enabling 2factor auth in settings are more than enough.

When starting out you should understand your customer's concerns/feedback rather than argue. Based on your replies I will not participate.
