As for your topic, I think I prefer betting dapp to gambling site, and my major reason for privacy purpose, dapp betting site is fully decentralized and keeps me anonymous and this is the part I like about it most because in my country, it is forbidden for us to participate in a gambling game.  I also gamble a lot, but with lots of discipline, discipline is the sense that I have learnt not to allow it get to me, I have time that I gamble and I dint exceed my gambling time.

I would not call you own addiction, because you still have time for your work, and based on what you said, it is after you leave work that you play gamble on your mobile phone which I do too, if you see an addict, you will easily sport one, because even in the office, he will leave his work pending and concentrate on gambling.

I prefer to gamble on the web gambling site because I don't play too many games and only choose dice as the games. I think gambling on Dapp is safe as I believe that the developer will give the best service to their members and they will protect their site from the hacker.

I remember when they first came out with an adventure game called candy crush, the moment I started playing candy crush was when I became addicted to it.

We need to categorise this both option in two differentiation. First one betting is the good option for gamblers who doesn't want to lose their funds unwantedly.
This option can keep your fund at the right place by choosing the the correct team as per your own pick. If you goes for die site there is nothing in your pick, you need to roll the dice as per the scripts added in the website.

I've never used any Desentralized applications(DApps),so I choose the second option(dice sites).
The dashboard of this DApp looks very nice,but I don't see any major advantages of using gambling DApps.Using DApps brings a false sense of security.Most of the usual gambling sites are as safe as a DApp(if you don't gamble with ridiculous amounts of crypto).

The most of the Dice sites are my favourites because I have never use the said DApp. The most easiest of the two are the dice sites if you ask my, because they are the common ones among gamblers these days. It's hard to be in control when you are doing gambling, no matter it is a gambling site or a distributed app. Only luck will control the gambling win or lose. I too prefer dice sites as they are more familiar and easy to play.

The problem is that not all people can have a strong emotion to handle the passion for coming back to the gambling zone. We have already been there before, and we know how it feels, and we still prevent to become the same person as before.

The app that could be easily installed in your mobile phone keeps you engaged and give you access to the site even if you are travelling by a bus. I normally prefer the desktop version but gambling using an app is no bad either. And yes what maters the most in the end is your skills at gambling on a particular game. Well most Dapps haven't actually had their smart contracts audited by a third party, so there's really no indication that they are all that trustworthy.

At least most dice sites have a provably fair algorithm that shows you how they generate the results, you don't need an audit for that.

Agreed, almost every dice site at the top by now has got the way to check the provably fairness of the roll. This way dice sites keeps there promise, and at times it gains more edge which is the one that makes some negative impact over the sites. Definitely! Betting dice is more trustworthy than dapps. Why? Because it can be manipulated by third party, which we don't want to happen since it can control. In addition, we don't know how 100% accurate their algorithm. So, I have doubt of it. In contrary with this, betting dice have fair algorithm and it prevents cheating from the users.
