After I read many articles about rank and merits schemes.
I found many unique things here.

*the first thing that I think is unique. I find a lots of commenting people complaining about how difficult to get it.
like some of the posts below;

Quote
Is it fair for me or another junior member who are active in the bitcointalk and always try give quality post about the new rule???
What should we do to get just one merit to increase our rank?
But what really happens is that is a newbie who is new to this forum read all the rules in this forum and sub forum,
all have been explained in detail about the answer from the question and the complaints of why they have not been able to advance
even though they may have been here for a long time.we will also know what we have to do.

*Than on the other hand, lots of people who want to help newbies to raise their rankings
like the example on this tread;
I am very proud of their appreciation for helping newies in terms of increase the rank.
I also strongly agree that schemes will help improve the quality of posts from newbies.

*Another uniqueness when I look at someone who wants to be considered a good personn and in value as a person who deserves a merit.
they show various examples of post replies and ask to be considered worthy  to get merits.
this is funny behavior in my opinion.

Basically we can equate this forum in terms of rank and merit sceme like with our social life in the real world.
"We cannot force someone to think of us as good people,we just need to be active and always do good.
reward and good judgment will come automatically''

so let others judge us,no need to ask and force it.

At first I felt the same way with newbie friends.
each will make a post
I always think "I'm here newbie, I have more questions that I want to ask than what I can explain to make a post
Even if I was given a question, I would not necessarily be able to answer it."
but all of those feelings have been thrown away, we still have the enthusiasm to keep learning and creating great posts.

I just concluded.
  • Stay energetic and continue to be active and work in accordance with our abilities. Because we cannot force others to judge us as good people.
  • Rest assured if we become a ''Legendary'' one day like them. This is only a matter of time.
  • if you already feel worthy to rise in rank, with lots of activities and posts, but in fact you are still a newbie, don't ever complain about it,
make it a motivator for us to learn more, enthusiasm for working and doing something good.

GOOD LUCK.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

You may be right about newbies having lots of question in their mind. Most of the newbies questions are already answered many times but lazy enough to search in bitcointalk forum and that result in duplicate or the same thread started by different person in which it is also called "SPAM" as most of us know it's high discouraged to keep the forum organized.

I do not think the complains are rife anymore,i rather think it's dawned on whosever hasn't ranked up at this moment, that it's down to them not doing the right thing and not the forums fault or that of the merit sources.
We as humans have to accept our own ineptitude and that alone can help us improve as humans and that's applicable on the forum.
During the early stages of the merit saga, the complains were coming in large numbers, but now with all the ranking ups we've been getting to various high ranks, those who haven't,have to take the blame on themselves

You wrote that users should be active and behave well, and the reward (for example merit points) and good judgement will come automatically. So you could explain why you bought the "Copper Member" rank?  After all, the privileges should come naturally.. right?

Well, it's true that doing good will return the favor. Being active doesn't mean the reward will come and that's why the OP bought copper membership. I think the OP is trying to earn merit but failed to earn more and decide to buy copper membership (possibly).

You are right.
even when I want to encourage fellow beginners like me,on this post.
this becomes impressed  repeating,like  spam.
I hope this will be the last post to discuss this.
all new members can understand all the rules and will work hard to always do good.

I come from a miner who happened to be on a project coin.
I was asked to make a translation to help promote their project on my local bitcointalk forum.
I even made threads for a long time and couldn't display pictures for quite a long time.

This my first tread,what i mean=
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5083632.0

You can calculate how long I made a thread. So it was helped by dev to display it in thread reply.

after I read a lot of things about the ranks I found the method. and I decided to buy copper members. I started to study more actively in accordance with the regulations of this forum.

Maybe this statement of yours is true and I guess we have similarities on what we really wanted to tell, that even though we do our bestt being active here and trying the quality posting I think it is not actually enough.

Maybe I have the wrong step at first.
because beforehand I didn't know many things here.
I don't want to patronize anyone,on my tread.
I do not want to see complaints again and I just want to encourage.
I really need a lot of advice here, for me knowing the shortcomings in my self.
that would be a correction to get better and more advanced,
honestly basically I have a lot of flaws,
lack of knowledge and I also have language at a bad level,
but none of that will become a wall that prevents me from developing,
I still want to learn a lot of things here.
Maybe I'm still like a baby just crawling now.. but in the future I will run after you, when my feet are strong Wink

This is a sufficient explanation. Do not think that I wanted to attack you in some way. You do a good job and thanks to users like you, this forum is a source of information and helps others educate.
Keep up a good work!

Most newbies that pay less attention to the merit and rank topic had been the once that are ranking up and getting the merit. It not a hard thing to do if you just avoid the whole merit obsession and commotion

I don't feel attacked by anyone, because I really need an opinion that contradicts me, Wink
because a compliment is actually making people weaker.
and  I am sure in each person to have something that can be great in the minds of others.

Compliment can make people weaker? I don't think that's the cause of a compliment from other people but also as an inspiration to overcome your weaknesses and thrive for a better self. We learn from mistakes and be able to take note why a compliment make you weak to make it your strength to go on.
