Once I gave back a wallet (was not empty, just to be clear )... I don't know, I think I would return the money. Kudos to this guy for doing it.

I can't open the article for idk what reason, but if it's a gambling casino then no. I'd just stick to their mistake, it's not like they aren't rigged enough.

It's not my money, then definitely I would also return it. I remember once I received a big amount on my bank account. I called them saying that there might be something wrong because I don't know where the source of that money is, so they immediately roll it back and I'm happy I made the right decisions. Sometimes it's best to be honest as well and not take advantage of any situation that you might regret in the end.

well it really comes down to where you gamble. Not all casinos are dirty, actually most arent. the problem is that all those shady casinos are offering "too good to be true" promotions and ppl then get burned. Why I think its important to do your research before playing anywhere. with that said, if it was a shady casino then I would probably think twice before returning the money, but then again karma is a bitch.

Yup Karma is something we must always consider before thinking bad actions I will return back the amount if this was accidentally sent to my account but ofcourse hoping to have some TIPS lol 😂 Just kidding .

one time we had organized a cash contest on a social forum I used to work, and our finance guy accidently sent $1500 instead of $15 to one of the contest winners. They never came back even though we tried to reach them many times.

To be honest I am not entitled to use the money because it is not my right, at least I will try hard to convince and find the owner of the money. This forum might be a very effective way to return the money and be held by the owner himself.

If they apologize for the mistake and maybe offer me a reward for return yes, else no. It's a casino anyway, they make money stealing/cheating so they deserve it hahaha

according to the article I linked in OP, the player did get 'some compensation" : " Yes, they sent a very nice gift from Gift Tree that held 3 Bottles of Napa Valley Wine and a large assortment of treats."

It's def. difficult to think about this... I personally don't understand why karma would be the only reason to return the money. When I read an article, my first thought actually was "Would I do the same?" I like to think I would.

Exactly what I thought. I'd return if someone lost it but from casinos, nah they are stealing anyway.

Returning it is the best decision that you need to do in the first place it was not your money even if it is a BTC you can still convert it into fiat money and also you will be sued by the casino and in result you will go in jail... But the good thing here is if it came in one BTC address that has been transferred to you accidentally then in my opinion it is not your fault so I will not return it.. But the best decision is return it to the real owner because in the end it is stealing!!

theoretically speaking why would you be paying at a casino if you feel this way? If u dont trust a casino enough to return them the money, then you wouldnt trust to play with them to being with. right>?

Yes, I would still return it even though I know it comes from gambling, or trading or whatsoever.
