Ledger Live mobile app is now available for IOS and Android

Sadly, only the new Ledger Nano X will work on iOS devices. You can use the app to see your Nano S balances (watch-only); but you can’t use it with the device (i.e to make transactions from your phone).

Ledger is excited to announce that the highly anticipated Ledger Live mobile phone application is now available. This allows Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue users to view their balances by scanning a LiveQR code presented on the Ledger Live desktop version. Currently featured in consultation mode, the app enables you to check the value of your crypto assets anywhere you go.

Thanks to the mobile app, you will be able to wirelessly transact everywhere with the Ledger Nano X. In the future, Ledger Nano S users (Android smartphones only) will be able to transact as well through the use of an OTG cable. We are working on having the same features for the Ledger Live mobile app as the desktop version.

The Ledger Live smartphone app is compatible on iOS 9+ or Android Lollipop (5 and above) operating systems or higher.

According to this tweet and your link, they are working on full integration with Nano S devices. A full version for the Nano S will only be available on Android, however, since iOS apparently doesn't support the use of the OTG cable.

I'll be using it as a "wallet watcher" in the meantime, since it can watch my actual addresses in real time without me having to manually input transactions like I currently do with Delta. Given that Ledger Live still doesn't support watching many of the coins/tokens that the Nano S can hold, however, I imagine many people won't use it for this function alone, and will be waiting until it supports the Nano S.

I wonder if it will work when i use VPN or Tor connection since it's desktop version don't?

Ledger Live works just fine for me on desktop via my VPN. I'm just away to go download the Android version - I'll let you know if it works via VPN on my phone too.

Edit: Works just fine via VPN on mobile. Was very easy to set up - open Ledger Live desktop, go to settings -> export accounts, scan QR code with app, set up password, done. Also, the Android app supports biometrics to unlock, if that's your thing. If not, it is password protected same as the desktop version.

Great news. Mobile app is thing which I missed sometimes on Ledger wallet. I'm glad that I use Android phone, not iPhone, so I will be able to use my Nano S on my smartphone . Now I just need to get OTG cable. But it still sucks that number of supported currencies remain very limited and Ledger team aren't working fast to integrate more coins/tokens.

You can use CoinStats if you want to do it. Just input the address, refresh it and then it will show your actual balances, tokens, prices, and so on. The bad news is it only accepts 2 address/portfolio in the free version, so if you want to watch a lot of address then you need to pay for it.
