I think that "token burn" or even "buyback" all started because someone just mentioned it and all of us went with it. As far as I know there is no news about neither buyback nor token burning from the team and they are probably not planning on something like that at all. It is just us that are making discussion about something that was never said or even mentioned.

I am not entirely sure how it works to be honest, I imagined buyback would mean us selling our tokens back to the team, that is what I assumed, no idea how buybacks work in technical sense and never been a part of it so I could totally be wrong. If you know how buybacks work please explain so I would learn it as well, that would help me understand the situation better.

I think they should just buy back those tokens distributed from the campaign and not those mined by the bettors. Doing it on Binance DEX would mean all of those going into the exchange will end up into their hands. It shouldn't be the question of how much they plan to buy back but since the sum o the tokens were 250k, I guess they can take them all unless someone decides to hold.

I am not sure what makes people who worked for the campaign more eligible to get their tokens sold then people who actually played and maybe lost money to get those tokens. I mean I understand that you have worked for your coins and that is a good thing, hopefully you will be able to sell your coins either in buyback terms or maybe even binance dex listing if that goes through as well but I want the same thing for the dividend holders who played and lost money as well, those people have the same right as you do and they just spent money instead of time which makes them at least equal to workers even if not more eligible for it.

I think the clear choice would be random, including both parties in it as well. With binance listing this will not be a problem though since it will be open to all.

I believe you misunderstand what they --those who talk about bounty token eligible for buyback-- are talking about. Token holders fear that bounty hunters would dump the token on the market. Thus, it would be better if the team buy the token from hunters before publicly traded.

However, I do agree if the team conduct this action on the market so that everyone gets the same opportunity to buy/sell in a free market.

However, I do agree if the team conduct this action on the market so that everyone gets the same opportunity to buy/sell in a free market.

The price would be less than the speculated price if they intend to buy back the token the previous campaign, I'm sure they'll have a way to communicate to each participants and offer the option before opening up for the binance market. Its all up to those participants whether they'd sell though. However there isn't a way to determine the market price yet.

Oh wow! I didn't know buyback was actually a real thing by them. I was assuming it was just all talk by all of us and not something eosbet has talked about. I mean they still didn't give feedback and I still don't know how it is done but at least they shared a tweet which means they will start doing it when we are listed on binance dex.

I am withdrawing all of my talk about buyback but keeping it for token burning, I was clearly wrong about buyback because I didn't know eosbet official account had said anything about it. I think if there is no token burning then buyback is just a way out for the token holders, they have gambled here, either won or lost money and now they will have an out and give the tokens back to the team and have some btc to continue their life, that way the gambler gets some money back and wins, the team has more tokens and wins. Win-win situation.

It's also been said by EOSBet (see latest update on steemit) that the buy back will be on Binance DEX only. So it will be on the open market which is good. Also I believe the total amount of bounty tokens was 250k, but I could be wrong on that.
