How many still Gpu minning only ?, How can you see 2019 for Gpu miners?
I've still got my GPUs but they are powered off. Basically not worth running them with the fans spinning at 70% just to make a nickel a day and end up killing the fans and have to RMA them. I just bought some ETH future contracts and its a long term trade because I still think that it will go up in the near future. Even with the low price and difficulty, it would take too long to mine a single ETH, so just trading them now.

I used to mine with my GPU but I'm not mining right now. Waiting for better times to come for GPU mining, if they ever come again. I think it is not worth GPU mining even if you have cheap electricity. If you calculate the time and energy you spend in searching for coins to mine, maintaining the operation, exchanging the coins for bitcoin, it is simply not worth it. You are also messing up with the life span of your GPUs.

GPU prices have crashed and lot of people are saying it is dead but its not. There are over 200k gpus worth of hash power mining GRIN right now for big profits. Right now is the time to mine some but I would dump immediately as the price will keep on crashing.

I would glad to stop and sell my GPUs now to buy coins for the money. But used GPU price now is such low as the price of altcoins So I have to continue mining

I stopped mining grin bc it was way over valued. Difficulty too high and prices are falling due to over hype. About the same as mining any other coin for daily rewards. I'm scouting out for different coins to mine something that's undervalued. .

Still mining with 70 gpus and .049 kwh electricity. I'm going to buy a few gpus but I'm debating which ones, 1000 series vs 2000 series. 1000 series are very cheap but 2000 series should hold their value longer. I have a 100 amp 240 volt line run to my garage and I plan on maxing it our with mining equipment, but its not much fun right now we need a rally or new coins to mine. Even with cheap electricity ROI is very long.

I m have a cheap enough electricity to continue to mine, but ROI is not good, for sure. Trying to mine shitcoins, where only 2 of 10 coins get good profit; other 8 goes to losses.

I am still gpu mining as a hobby and I just hold the coins. The rigs are paid for when profits were better. I can afford the cost of electricity. But yeah investing a bunch of money in gpu's expecting a fast return or even running stuff you already have for much of any return with cost of power is trouble.

Same here. I got most of my roi last year when values were skyrocketing. I turned them off last summer, but I run them in the basement of my home during cold months. The extra heat helps to heat my house and that's money I was going to spend anyway. I am holding all mined coins until the market recovers, hoping that some of them will gain value.
Clearly not many small-time miners are profiting right now. We're just limping along waiting for the market to pay on our investments.

I've sold off virtually all of the GPUs I own except for the one or two I have left for gaming in my main rig (a 1070Ti), like adaseb said it's not worth the hassle for the tiny amount you're earning with GPUs now. Some people are mining GRIN right now, but I have no idea how the profitability is on GRIN right now and I don't have much to mine with anymore anyways. I've switched mostly over to DCAing around $100 into BTC and a bit into other altcoins as of late. I don't see 2019 being very good for GPU miners as long as we're trapped in this bear market.

I am still mining because I still believe that the price of bitcoin will go up in the long term. I will even mine at a loss because my vision do not change, I firmly believe in the recovery of bitcoin even it may not be soon it is better to wait.

I sold one rig because I needed some money but the rest is powered off, in my country the only way to do mining with profit is to steal electricity and that is a something I will never do, the rest of the rigs is powered off since October or November I really don't remember, I chosen to sell a rig better than sell Ethereum or any other coin at these prices because I can always rebuy rigs when or if needed.

A lot of people are still pulling in nice profits from gpu mining. Especially with grin the past couple of weeks they have made some nice coin. IT doesn't matter how low prices go there will always be some people pulling in profits due to difficult adjustments.

As time goes and your gpus work, they get a little bit damaged, why to waste resources for nothing? Which GPU do you have? If you have gtx 1070ti and higher, then I would save them and mine when price rise, highly hope that will happen in some months.

It's not matter 1000 or 2000. Both will be enough valuable only after the rising of mining profitability. At current cryptocurrency prices it's very difficult to sell used GPUs. Only for very cheap price

At this point it's only worth it if you want to do this as a hobby or you need heat in the winter. The only real way to make a big profit is to mine new coins that aren't available on exchanges yet but that is very risky. Your better off spending your time doing almost anything else because you will make more money than the current mining situation we are in.

Mining is not a hobby a long ago. It's a business. Risky business like trading. Also to heat a house in winter especially with GPU farm is not an ordinary task. It's too hard to integrate miners to existed heating system. There are several solutions but they are piece examples by enthusiasts.
