Of course in this thread I'm discussing the provision of free WiFi in their stores and cafes.
I'm sitting in the cafe at Morrisons. I'm posting on Bitcoin Talk, and updating some of domain sales info, and I would have liked to sync' my node in the background. Morrisons has blocked this facility over their WiFi. Morrisons is the 4th largest supermarket chain in the UK, and they have 10.4% of the market. As Internet integration becomes more important, and crypto-currencies increase in use, organisations that are not prepared to accept this will face a decrease in market share in the future.
Do you think that node synchronisation is something that supermarkets should allow, or perhaps they should even encourage it?
[INTERESTING UPDATE]
I couldn't access the Fit to Talk English project site here - that said it was political, and thus wasn't allowed. I've discovered that if I ise the Tor window in the Brave browser, then I can access the site. So if I am anonymous, and I conceal my IP, then I can be politically incorrect here, but if I try to access the site openly, then they block me.
