I’ve plugged a few whatminers into a new location and some of the power supplies are blowing, bang and flash

Is there a fuse in the supplies or do they need replaced.
I think the reason is the rigs have been in storage in zero temp conditions

You are most likely facing issues with condensating water!

Be careful,
do not start them in sub-zero temp!
Let them get warm before the startup.

Edit: let them get warm and DRY! before the startup.

Ditto^^.
Unless they are specifically rated for it, never EVER power on any electronics that are below freezing. The 'wet' bulk filter capacitors will fail. Always allow them to warm up and preferably keep them in their packaging until warm to prevent condensation. Of course also make sure you have the correct line voltage which should be between 208-240VAC.

edit: Don't know if there is a fuse in the power supplies but the fact that you heard a bang and saw a flash (any smoke released as well?) is not good and leads me to think the bulk capacitors have failed and the power supplies will need to be replaced. Fuses open with very little sound.

An easy way to dry out and warm up unit .

Point a running unit at the new unit!

Let the hot air  warm the cold unit up for an hour or so.

Today I get a s15  it will come really cold when I get it.

Before I fire that mofo up I will point a s7ln at it for an hour or so.

I will photo this later on today.

Edit

as promised:

just do this for an hour or two and the unit will be warm and dry.

When I first read the title I got a little worried.

Sorry it happened to you but it definitely seems an isolated incident.  That's exactly what I was trying to avoid when mine arrived. They were left outside in -30c.

I did what Phil showed in the image with my 741's for 12 hours for 1 I believe the other sat there for a day.

For startup - if the miner is warmer than the ambient temperature, you will not get condensation. I have started my 741's in the garage as cold as -5c. I've never had to start anything else in colder temperatures. In the end I wouldn't recommend starting it outside the range given for operating specs
