I tagged them and good job on spotting the fake team members. It seems like they are getting smarter and smarter, their images are uploaded in a different way where you can't get any url links for the source of their images, you can't even download the images from their website. Luckily their Linkedin profiles have their images more accessible to us for use in a reverse image searches.

RESPONSE FROM ZEUX********************************************************************************************************************************************************* It has been brought to our attention and we would like to respond to the false report on listing Zeux as a scam project by questioning the authenticity of the team. We would like to reassure you all, both Danny Wang and Ellie Zhang are real members of the team. Due to the nature of the ICO activity is in the legal grey zone in China, both Chinese members were not comfortable being listed with their photos on the ICO site. The team has never intended to fool the community and only wanted to protect its team members, therefore moving forward, we have updated our website accordingly and will ensure that this will not happen in future. Our team is real and you can view a video of our team including every member of the C-level team who were happy to stand in front of the camera https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BuBa6mrXvI&t=1s. We want to reiterate that the accusation of Zeux having a fake team is totally untrue. We would be happy to clarify the issue, please message us for further questions. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************

It is correct, we have updated our website to protect these two members because they now feel compromised due to the accusation.
Subject isn't going to change even you have changed your website. After exposed we can see the same excuses from everyone. This is really old story, you are not first about that excuse. After change team photo you are talking to come live. This is not wise work and not acceptable to the community. The truth is you had tried to cheat people's. And it's the only truth. Changing photo isn't going to change our mind and your intention.

The mere fact that you stole some photos from anyone means we cannot trust your project anymore. In the first place, if your two members are not comfortable to expose their face, you should not stole some photos and replace it to their team profile. I think it is more uncomfortable to be accused as scammer and fake than exposing your real photo in your website. If you guys have good intention to your investors, you should be transparent from the start. You can even make an AMA video session through your social media accounts.

IMO, Even though Zeux seems like a much better project than 99% of shitty projects here, you shouldn't use another person image to "hide" those Chinese Citizens. It can be considered a crime (if those are not public domain stock photos). This practice deserves a red tag in our community, whether your project is really a scam or not.
I'm afraid there is nothing you can do to recover your reputation in this forum. Perhaps AMA could help, but I'm skeptical it could convince eight DT members to untag you since you already "lie."
Actually, it's better if you exclude those two members from the beginning (or keep it anonymous) instead of using someone photos without permission. This is the rule in this forum, nothing to do about your intention to scam people or not.

What are you confused about? A medium article written by the zeux team saying that it has partnered with coinbase? This is even nothing, I have even seen scam projects with articles on top media sites like Forbes and Cointelegraph

I agree I almost fall for a ICO that has articles on top financial sites like Yahoo, but if you scroll or look closely these are paid articles and they have nothing to do if you invest on the ICO and the ICO turns out to be a scam project, it's not the criteria that will make the ICO a legit project,

Do you think that IOTA publishes paid news?
It's a partnership which involves money of course. If you are gonna trust anything IOTA publishes then go ahead and do whatever you want with the Zeux project. If your money gets burned then that surely is on you. The people here at least did their work to warn you. If a project is legit, then what do they have to hide about a team... The Best thing they could have done was inform people that some of their team members would like to remain anonymous or better still totally exclude them from the website. What is so hard with that?

I totally agree with you. I was surprised that such large projects cooperate with these scammers. I will not invest in this project.
