Looking for writers for crypto website

Hi everyone,

Running this site https://gocryptowise.com/ and we are currently looking for extra writers to come in and write about interesting stuff that's happening in the crypto and/or blockchain scene.
We are looking for extras do write a few articles per month/week. We want you write about things that motivates you, it could be about current news or events that's happening, or guides / helpful tips articles, opinion pieces, reviews, compilation articles (lists), or something else that might draw people's attention. In other words we are open to your thoughts and ideas and creativity.

It could be as short as 250 words but more often we'd want between 500-1000 words articles. Willing to pay from $5-15 per piece usually. But willing to talk price if relevant and high quality.
We are not looking for too many writers to start with, so want to find a few that we get on with.

You should:
- Be passionated about crypto / blockchain
- Be a good writer
- Open for feedback and ideas
- Generally a nice person

We can:
- Promote you, your bio, social media links, etc
- Offer you a long-term gig potentially
- Be part of what is hopefully a growing brand in the crypto scen

I knew there will be a few posts and people coming around like you, and fair enough you can say what you like that's fine.
If anyone wants to write about something they're passionate about and interested in, then maybe they can judge themselves if they think $5-15 is ok paid for an article of 250-500 words ish.

Practice, getting heard, shaping the way you write and tell stories is for me the most important thing. So for some that money is enough, for others not.

Well, there's a big difference between $15 for a 250 words article, and $15 for a 1k'er. Typically, niche writers are paid more, not less than the industry average.

That being said, the rate might be perfectly fine for writers in some countries, though I wouldn't expect you'll get a native at those rates.

Be you aware that:

- good writing, in a structured way, is a rare talent
 
-especially on a subject as technical as the blockchain and the crypto ecosystem

And in addition, I feel the payment in Tokens... (or in exchange for "visibility"... but visibility does not feed!)

Some people would work for $5 an hour because they need to feed there families. Also more than 1 article can be written an hour so this is a good deal for most people.

No one native speaker would even agree to these rates. You will get the content for your side but the quality will be very low. If you want to get quality content then pay some "quality" rates as well.

Thanks for all the interest, I will be contacting some of you to discuss this further.

And regardings the comments about low price, I understand where you're coming from. I do think it's up to the individual, and for some that is a fair price for others not. But I will consider upping my prices for the right person and piece, and think about the prices long-term. Since we are newly started and it's driven for now as a side project our budget obviously is limited.
