How do you feel when you get new merit about a post you made?

The Hustle for merit  there is a good feeling when you check your post and find out someone just gave you a merit
that feeling makes one want to keep trying, so it's in life always try to give people a form of merit for anything they do good for you
it acts like a fuel that makes one want to do more!!

Don't be ignorant about it, people love to be appreciated and be acknowledge for there effort

also if you don't get it don't feel bad always learn to appreciate yourself without anyone just say to yourself I did my best.
Won't accept any feeling of failure!! always keep the energy around positive. sure you will win someday

I'm not aware of getting merit. I don't post for it, and don't look at it. I don't understand it.

What does merit exactly give or do? I can see it's some sort of a reputation form, but does it give any advantage expect that?

Only thing I’ve noticed about merit round here is one genuine post gets merited seems like 5 carbon copies pop up in the same forum over the next day, the “how to be a better poster” threads spring to mind. People on here are like a dog with 2 dicks when it comes to merit.

Personally, I am happy! Because it is very difficult for me to get them. Every time I worry about the fact that I can somehow not answer that way and they will ban me or delete my SMS, lately it’s not possible for me, but I really want to get a new rank, I try not to harm or do something against the rules.

I agree, it feels good to get some merit. At least you know that you have contributed something to the discussions. This merit thingy has became a 'life' for others specially low ranked members because they know it's really hard for them to go up in rank and joined bounties and signature campaigns.

But yes, feels great to see someone recognised you and your contribution.
