►►► Is HotDex a wallet or an exchange?
The Hotdex is actually both. If you had a password given to you, you’ve created a cloud account. If you created your own password, you have created a local wallet. We recommend creating a local wallet assuming you have a strong password. Always download a backup of your wallet to a safe place.


►►►What is the difference between Local wallet and a Cloud account?
Think of a cloud account and local wallet as essentially different types of ‘bank accounts’. The cloud account allows you to access your funds from any computer using your username and the generated password. Be sure you ONLY input your login information to the correct URL.
The cloud account offers ease of use whereas the local wallet offers superior safety as your account can only be accessed from that particular computer. The local wallet has been compared to hardware wallet.

►►►Why the wallet is not loading?
Check your computer clock and make sure it is correct. You can also try refreshing or go to Settings –> Nodes to select another node. If you’re using the web wallet, be sure you clear your cache to ensure you’re loading the newest version.

►►►Is Hotdex a Web-Based exchange?
Yes, Hotdex is a web based decentralized exchange.

►►►Is there any withdrawal limit?
No, there is no withdrawal limit in Hotdex.



►►►Do I need to backup my password?
Surely you should! Multiple copy is even better so that you won’t lose. And also make sure that only you have access to them.

►►►I lost my password. How can I recover it?
Unfortunately, there is no way to recover your password for a cloud account. You are given a computer-generated 45 character password when you create your cloud account, if you lose that password there is no way for you (or anyone else) to access your account.

If you’re using a local wallet you can restore your account from a local wallet key or brain key if you backed them up. If you did not do so, there is unfortunately no way for you to restore access to your account.

►►► I have my password, but I cannot login. What should I do?
If you use a local wallet, try to restore from your backup (.bin file).

If you use a cloud wallet, enter your username and password manually (don’t use the auto-fill function of browser).



►►►Are there fees for canceling orders?
Hotdex is built on the BitShares blockchain. Nearly every operation on the network requires a tiny fee in BTS.

►►►What is the trading fee?
Trading fee will variable from coin to coin depending on coin volume. (0.1% to 0.2%)

►►►How to add funds to my account?
Cryptocurrency fund is added via direct transfer to the address generated for you in the Hotdex exchange’s crypto wallet.

I signed up to HotDex on launch day and I can say that its been great so far. I like the look as its different then all other DEX's out there and it runs smoother then other DEX's I have used in the past. I also like that they have a voting system where a coin can get listed for free if it meets HotDex's criteria. I really believe that HotDex has a bright future and we never know, it might rival CB as the top DEX one day. I highly recommend everyone check it out and if you are a dev, then think about listing your coin on here either list for voting or pay a direct listing which is cheaper then most exchanges on the market. There is also a lottery feature where participants can win the daily lottery just for guessing the closing price of BTC each day.

You're welcome my friend, I always try and support good projects and exchanges and I truly believe that HotDex is a good exchange that will have a long term future. The past couple of days have been good for HD as the volume has increased with yesterday being the best day with around 6 BTC volume in 24 hours which isn't too bad for an exchange that is just over a week old. I look forward to seeing more coins listed in the coming weeks/months.

I just logged into my HotDex account today and noticed that they now have a new feature. Staking is now live for HotShot and DMME so now we can stake our DMME and HTS coins on HotDex. Stakes are paid as soon as the HotDex wallet mints a stake so no waiting around for stakes like some staking platforms do, at HD stakes are paid instantly as soon as coins are minted. Its good to see the daily volume picking up here!

Also the new staking feature has been working perfectly for me as I currently stake DMME on here and its just like staking in your own wallet but its just on the DEX. It can also make it easier to sell stakes once people start to earn them instead of transferring them from your wallet to the exchange. I read that a few more coins will have this staking feature in the next few days.

I really think more devs with projects should look at HotDex a lot closer as they have some cool features like this staking feature and a couple of other great features that can benefit the coin/s.

TSC has just been added to the staking feature that HotDex has so for anyone wanting to stake TSC and can't do so with there PC or laptop can now start using HotDex. However there is a minimum amount of 50,000 that you will need to start staking which isn't much as the price of TSC is around 1-3 sats a coin. Please note that if you already have created a TSC deposit address before, then please create a new address on HotDex before depositing coins.

Its nice to see more coins get listed on here. I really like the staking feature on HD as I'm currently staking DMME at the moment and its been going well with stakes coming in daily. I'm just waiting on AceD to have the staking feature which will happen once AceD forks.

AceD has forked their coin and now AceD staking has been enabled on HotDex. The minimum amount of AceD you need to have on HotDex to start staking is 1,000 coins. Like I have said before, this is a great way to stake and sell rewards at the same time if you choose to sell staking rewards. It just makes it so much easier for people and helps the ones that can't stake on their PC or laptops.

Two new coins have been listed on HotDex in the past couple of weeks which is good to see as more coins gets listed the more volume HotDex has which hopefully we soon see listed on CMC and also Blockfolio. Its going to take time for this DEX but I think it will do well in the long term.

I just read that HotDex will be undergoing a redesign of their DEX and website. Also they have a new voting system for coins to get listed where it will cost 1 HTS coin per vote like it was before however the coin wanting to get listed much get 10k votes, HTS coins used for voting will be burned which is good for lowering the HTS coin supply.
