You can't quit addiction by just simply changing your life style..
We have to know the main source of addiction, and we need to cut that into our life.
In this sense, it's gambling so we simply stop gambling, and that's a hard thing to do when you are addicted.

People when starts to run behind money from gambling this is the start of addiction and slowly the user might not even know when they are addicted to it . Also as you being gambling from long time try to take a break in between and see if you can stay without it else quite possible even you are addicted to it .

For all those things which involve in gaining money, it is very common for the people to become addicted to it. The bad thing about addiction is that we are unable to distinguish between Win and Loss and are so much involve in game that we do not see the dark side of the game. As long as we use mind in playing, not our emotions, we are not addicted.

There is a very thin line between addiction and greediness and most of the time it is the greed that make us addicted to gambling. If we take gambling as a business and play it carefully, then not only we can gain benefit but at the same time we will not let our emotions take control over us and make us loss.

Actually no one want to be addicted but unfortunately we are addicted somehow in somewhere. Everything we start just for hobby or for fun. But day by day it become habit and eventually we fall in addiction. However, gambling addiction is different from others. This addiction we can't leave even we try, I mean who have falled already. Even you loss or on profit both is responsible for addiction. If loss then your are continue to play fore recover, if won then continue play for more profit. But addiction is bad always. I do believe there must be some initiative against gambling addictions is needed for the sake of welfare of this community.  anyway , i myself is not addicted to gambling because i dont find it entertaining or profitable but i confess that im verry hooked on video gaming and porn stuffs  .

 it is hard to resist them even if im trying to divert my mind onto something more important  .

Addiction means your mind want something in a regular basis to satisfy the dopamine needs.

Your brain has three status of living conscious,subconscious and unconscious.In the stage of conscious your mind knows what you are doing but on other stages you may not unaware of what is happening even if you are living in it.

So if you are having some habit to make you pleasure on short term like gambling,porn or dating and other lot of stuffs will become an addiction when you want that happiness everyday.But these things is not your long term pleasure it just only meant to be short term but your mind turning it into long term by making you keep doing it very often because your subconscious and unconscious make it as a habit already since you are doing it already.

If you manage to gamble all the time and continuously, it must have been a habit for you. That's a fact. If you try to bet for a long time and stop for a long time too, that would be better. It may be a situation in which someone has no work, but has a lot of savings, or for example won the lottery. Regular basis must be the core reason why we are getting addicted to gambling. If you are able to take a break at our wish then we can avoid gambling addictions. Gambling addictions is highly dangerous one unlike how most people are imagining about it.

You have given addiction a succinct definition and an all encompassing one at that but the solution to it seems something too simple in that if that is the case, then we won't even have people getting addicted to any thing in the first place. My point is, everyone dealing with one addiction or the others knows that there is need to get out of it or work more, get successful but the question really is how?. A lot of people would go to work in the morning and then come back home to relax thats when they gamble should that person continue working even when the office has closed in other to beat the addiction? In general, gambling cannot be considered as a profitable job or a good source of income. We can't rely this thing to sustain our needs instead it could just bring us into nothing if we fall into addiction and can't even realized  how bad it is. Gambling is just for having fun, don't fall into thinking that we can make money through this.
