I agree but  Some addiction are quite severe and difficult to quit .. .that  you  most likely experience withdrawal symptoms once you try quitting. Makes me wonder if gamblers go through terrible withdrawal symptoms.

Still you can quit any kind of addiction but need effort and lot of help from the outside of you.The rehabilitation centre will help the overcome any kind of addiction but most of the addicted gamblers won't agree that they were addicted to it.

The main problem is not admitting your case and continue denying that you are already in such stage, gamblers forget bout things while

I think addiction is a habit, you cannot change it simply. To change your lifestyle like 'eating' for an example which you always did everyday. In other to change how you eat from rice to vegetables, your stomach needs time to adjust it. It may take several weeks for your stomach to be comfortable with a new diet (with vegetables).

actually mostly ppl that have addiction in gambling  are already knows the sad fact behind of being gambler   Which is how risky it is and it realy can affect on their life.  But unfortunately they don't care about it because they gamble for fun instead of gaining huge profits because of being addicted  .

They are aware of it but they don't want to be treated, it's hard also in their part to have that kind of addiction. It's not easy for them to dispose that kind of activity and it's already on their mind.

Who doesn't want to grt treated? No one, everybody does. Actually youal already point it out, what is happening is that the they can't rid of the disease even they want to because it already became part of their body somehow thus seems very hard to cure. It's like escaping in a labyrinth but it was too complex to solve.

I know that the struggle is real even I haven't experience this kind of thing since I know someone (one of the celebrities here in our country) who is suffering on such addiction. Now I realized that the hardest opponent you might encounter is your own demon.

It's one of the saddest thing that there are gamblers that doesn't want to get treated.

Personally I never experience any addiction since I knew gambling 5 years ago because I still control myself for not gambling.

They are the last person to help you and you must be submissive to be treated on your problem.
Everyone should consider addiction a light problem because when it grows within you, it will be gonna be a hard problem to treat.
Your gamble and stay connected with your family as they are the one who will first notice if you have that sign.

That will make them lose everything. Addiction means your mind want something in a regular basis to satisfy the dopamine needs.

Your brain has three status of living conscious,subconscious and unconscious.In the stage of conscious your mind knows what you are doing but on other stages you may not unaware of what is happening even if you are living in it.

Yeah right, helping yourself to fight addiction is something I can consider hard. Your body asks you to the thing because of your
subconscious. It's all because of the habit your dopamine adapted and will always ask you to do so.

Deeds, vice and habits are the addictions we can actually easily cure. But the addiction related to chemicals is something that we need to work hard to stop. Just like smoking cigarettes, weeds and so on. Those chemicals will affect your brain and your nervous system that it would make yourself find those chemicals and take it in your body system because your brain won't allow you not to take them.

Rehabilitation is the only thing that is proven and effective to help you stop your addiction and obsession about things. Spiritual also have a vital part to help you get out of that misery. But yes, there is a lot of different addictions and not all of them are bad.

I wouldn't call that stupid, I'm more concern of their situation that they should understand that it's not good for everyone to have this as their career. Some are successful but not everyone can be successful with it.

I wouldn't call that stupid, I'm more concern of their situation that they should understand that it's not good for everyone to have this as their career. Some are successful but not everyone can be successful with it.

You are too concerned to help them, but that will not work with the addiction kind of mindset. They should understand gambling is just a game not more than that. I really do not gamble all the time. If I wish to bet on any club teams that time alone I just do that man.

Sounds like you got better understanding about how to handle gambling addictions. Because, it is not easy to control ourselves after winning big due to the greediness, our emotions will push to continue regardless of whatever results will be finding after a big winning. Controlling ourselves well in advance before experiencing any losses will save us from getting addicted.

Most people are getting addicted in the process of recovering their losses but they were into gambling for the reason of repeating their winning moments.
