but I am hoping there are a couple of coins that stand out from the rubbish that will be suggested


I Already invested 600$ split even between

Cardano
Ontology
Stellar Lumens
Vechain

but I want to invest another 600$ in two more coins to expand my portfolio so would really appreciate it if you can give some suggestions of good picks.

Practically any coin from top100 is worth investing in. And even if you choose randomly you will make lots of profit when the bull run begins. And it will begin very soon, in the second half of this year or in 2020 when there will be Bitcoin halving. Anyways ANY investment in crypto now equals thousand of percent of profit in the near future. Do not miss out on this opportunity!

right now is not a good time to enter altcoins in my opinion. they are mostly having terrible times keeping their value up and the direction of all of them is downwards with exception of the small unknown coins which are getting pumped every day. so if i were you i would have forgotten about investing at the moment.

But there are many other coins that have good potential, even though prices are bad not not good for investment, so use your strategy to start it, if successful the profits will already come.

If you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose between that pile of shitcoins I would choose EOS.  in my opinion none of them has a bright future.  just simply buying ETH and ETH infrastructure tokens will be a better investment.

Anyway, according to me EOS would definitely be a good option here to expand thew portfolio. EOS is a potential coin and is worth investing in.
The other options you included are out of my scope since I don't believe in any of them. I am currently holding BTC, ETH and EOS.
So ETH can be the second option according to me that you can opt for.

From investment point of view I'd choose ICON, it has dropped more than 60 times from ATH so it has a high reward/risk value. Hardly it will drop significantly lower from current position, so it's the best choice in my humble opinion

This is my opinion but it's much better for you to divide the rest of your amount into the tron, ethereum and btt which had a fully working product.
All of coins in the list don't seem good choices. Forget EOS and it's just another overrated platform dude.

My advice is that you better believe in the coins that you will invest rather than choosing the advice given from this forum. because everyone's opinions must be different, and this will only make you confused. for sure you have to choose coins that are in the top 10 in the market, because I think the coin already has a large volume and a clear concept in the future.

Yes I am really loving Cardano and Ontology and this will be my main 2 coins where I will make continuous investments each month into them might be small amount 100$ each but still is something.

Since you buy into altcoins you should know that ethereum is one of the most supported coins by ICO and from what i think ethereum will have a bright future after the down period.

That's already a nice collection you've build up in your portfolio ,you might decide to add coins like tron, holo ,pundix ,stratis or maker but since all coins and tokens you owned are altcoins it would be more safer to go with top coins like bitcoin and Ethereum but the choice is yours

All of your saying that is a great coins. But timing is so important. Sometime they dump and pump unregularly. You have to trade when the good times.
