In fact multiple Fry's in the area carry the HD5970. But the stores are far from where I live, my time is precious, I have plenty BTC but a little strapped on cash right now, etc.

So, go buy three HD5970 from this store (or any other store), it should cost you about $1970 incl. taxes, deliver them to my place, and I will pay you 2300 BTC (my rate is equivalent to $0.857/BTC). Of course I expect a store receipt (I will not accept the delivery without it) and the cards in their original packaging. I live in south Redondo Beach (20min from LAX). You can deliver them any weekday after 8pm, or on the weekends. I will pay you on delivery. Feel free to hang out at my place a few minutes, as you wait for one transaction confirmation from the Bitcoin network. I am a cool guy, live alone, and south Redondo Beach is not a shady area :-)

Not a joke. I do suggest buyers to wait until the exchange rate raises above my $0.857/BTC offer, that way you make a profit.

Hmm good point. A lot of trust would be needed to pay first. Perhaps I should offer using an escrow service?

Maybe you've got your reasons for not wanting to do it but couldn't you convert this to paypal and then pay with that online and have it delivered?
I don't mind doing it for you if you want, it's easy enough.

Mostly it is too much hassle and risk. I assume you don't want deliver the cards to me. So I would have to deal with you for the Paypal conversion, then another person for the delivery. Plus both of us would be subject to Paypal's risks, nullifying the advantages of dealing in Bitcoins only...

Anyway I have reflected on this and have decided to buy cheaper used HD5970s instead.

Yep, I'm too far away to deal in person. I was actually just suggesting the idea to do it yourself with paypal.
Also suggesting you could BTC me and I'll convert to paypal and ship them to you.


I agree used 5970's are going to be the way to go though, good call and good luck on it.
