I started in late 2016 - user case drove me in.
I love tea (real tea; not hibiscus or mint infusion); and I order it from specialized retailers online. One day I noticed that one of my favorite tea retailers accept Bitcoin -ALARM (imagine scene from "Das Boot")!!!- Bitcoin - isn't that some sort of abstract geek wannabe currency??? But I can buy real physical non IT-related thing with that??? Lets investigate - it can be mined with computer??? Actually it can't be mined at home anymore but there is plenty of other mineable coins which can be converted to Bitcoin - There is more coins??? Exchanges??? Looks like there was whole parallel universe I was not aware of...
And here I am - hooked into BTC world...

I was here at the beginning.  Was reading about bitcoin before bitcointalk was even created.  At one point I held over 20,000 btc but didn't think they would ever become this value.  Ended up tradnig them for like a penny each.  That was in the liberty reserve days.

Never had an account back then buddy, was just a miner and bought some during liberty reserve days.  I liked the technology but I stupidly thought bitcoin would never obtain any substantial value.

Made an account last year just to converse on this forum, some days I am suicidal because of how much money I missed out on. 

Honestly I doubt anyone back then thought bitcoin would even reach $10 let alone $3000.

When i was a beginner in cryptocurrencies i started to buy a small amount of bitcoin and few weeks later it started to increase it's value. After that, i started to explore here in this forum in where i could earn more in cryptocurrencies. I began to participate in signature and bounty campaigns, and i am now investing my money for passive income, so i could be successful with cryptocurrencies.

In addition to that, right now I use my bitcoin to trade different altcoins in market because after I know all things about bitcoin and cryptocurrency I started to use my learning in doing trading and investing. Until right now I found upcoming exchange which is Bitrus and I think once they release the actual exchange I will try to trade some of altcoin there. Lastly, I am really glad that I found bitcoin and new upcoming exchange where I can make and earn huge amount of money.

Glad to heard that you see the highest price of bitcoin way back 2017 because I do not experience any bull run that's why I keep on investing and holding bitcoin. I just started few months ago because of my friends who introduced it to me.

I started only in February 2018, but of course before that I heard about the crypto currency and was not included in it since it was very well already grown , I'm still waiting for the entry point to it and I think it will still fall!

When I heard again from my friend, how much he earned with bitcoin I checked again everything about bitcoin and decided to start with it.
