As everybody probably knows Mtgox applied for the procedure of civil rehabilitation.
So the call centre has been established "to respond to all inquiries".
I'm trying to reach the number, given in the announcement (+81 3-4588-3922), but am not able to.
Someone has the same issue? Any suggestion to solve this specific issue?

I did not attempt to call, because I don't know what to say. Should I ask for confirmation of my username and the remain asset? I know them in my heart. Do you ask them again anyway in order to tape the conversation? Or what do everyone call them for? |

My idea is very simple.
They don't have money, but they have a brand and know-how.
And as it's not Mark Karpless who owns the company right now and because they are searching the solution to make MTGox work again, I'd offer them to give me the shares in the new MTGox for the difference they are not able to pay me back.
Does it make sense?

They didn't set up a hotline to help you, or to give you info, or give you your money back.
They set up a hotline because it's required, and it enables them to wash their hands of it and say "We don't handle that call the hotline".
How many people of the half a billion dollars that was stolen do you think might call it?

Someone has been able to speak with them and still the people who took over the MTGox now, are not interested it to be bankrupt, at least I do not see any reason for them to do so. They didn't set up a hotline to help you, or to give you info, or give you your money back.
They set up a hotline because it's required, and it enables them to wash their hands of it and say "We don't handle that call the hotline".

They provided one number initially, and then added another number for English speakers, AFAIU. Then they apparently deleted the EN number from their announcement. Could the number you're trying to call be the EN one? |
