Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

This sounds like a pools side issue.

So try posting in your pools support thread.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

It's almost always easier and more secure to set up a new address and just sweep the old one into it - unless you're worried that the address you are currently using is somehow compromised.

This can be done by setting up a new blockchain wallet address and having it sweep your current wallet address to the new wallet address.

Of course, your mileage may vary. https://blockchain.info/wallet has the details.

Being different is all it takes to make a difference. H. J. Buell

im assuming that means type in or copy the payout address and put it onto a new wallet ?

So you can't find Slush's thread?

Hint: On your keyboard (thats the thing with all the buttons with letters on), press the button marked "Crtl" and also the button marked "F".  That'll bring up a find box.  Type in "Slush", and press the enter key (it's the big square button near the right side of the keyboard).  Your internet will show you the thread.  Click on the link and you can post there.

It's basic computer use, I wonder why you're trying to mine bitcoins when you haven't even got the basics of using a computer figured out...  Roll Eyes
