I've got a boatload of these things sitting over at Binance.  Can't make a dime off these, barely.

How can I convert these 0x's to something better?  something fresh with some real action buttons...

Selling them on Binance is probably the best way to get something fresh out of 'em. The ZRX/BTC pair on Binance seems to be the highest volume ZRX pair out there right now, and prices seem to be pretty even across the board on most exchanges for 0x right now, though you might be able to get a marginally better exchange rate by using other exchanges (though that's likely not worth the hassle).

Not familiar with the coin or what happened along the way during the bear trend and about the hype of being a "BIG ONE" someday as you mentioned but majority (or should I say almost) all altcoins are affected since the start of BTC downtrend or the so-called the start of the long term bearish trend in crypto market. You must understand that it's not easy to "withstand" such scenarios especially in crypto world.

No matter how good a coin is, once a powerful bearish trend take over the scene, people have no choice but to expect the unexpected.

Up to you decide honestly. Try to watch closely the actions and plan for a strategy. Currently showing a "good" volume as we speak.

You really can't make such a conclusion basing on the bear market. If you wanted to off load them,  you should have done it a long time ago... Maybe last year in January or Feb.
selling them off would be meaningless after waiting that long.

0x isn't really 're-promoting' their project; the Subreddit you linked has been active for nearly two years with pretty constant activity throughout those two years, and the Facebook account you linked has also been pretty consistently active for some time.

The official site for this project seems to be at https://0x.org/, and it doesn't seem very abandoned to me yet. Just seems like there's been a drop in interest due to the bear market causing price drops in the token, but otherwise it still seems decently maintained.

This was the coin that was accepted lately by Coinbase right? It was affected by the bear market and these altcoins were part of it, there's no way for them to avoid the effect that this market has brought to them regardless of the news that circulates for 0x.

It is, but Binance holds the biggest volume of all the exchanges, it's an  ETH Token by the way.
This is one good project but the price has tank, and which coin were excempted in the bear period, ETH has fallen 10 times lower,
and the thing happened to this token. I will not conclude it's a bad token now, I'll wait until the market stabilize and see.

why is this on the beginners board? Shouldn't this get moved to Altcoins/Trading?
0x was hyped because it provides some short of protocol for trading iirc. it was forked to hydro (?) isn't it? because some exchange which use this protocol doesn't like 0x implementation.

I wouldn't call it a dead project, its cap is over $128 Million according to CMC. Btw, their website is https://0x.org/.
The chart shows the same as when you look at the majority of the other tokens which are all down a lot from their best days.

That was the bull period and all coins are rising upwards (including shitcoins).
0x is not a shit coin that time, but we never know it's reputation in the long run, it's gonna be a long journey.

The market as a whole was very lively during December 2017 so 0x was included to that days where the market has been into its glory days. But its about the stability of a coin, I'm not very well oriented with 0x but a coin that's added to coinbase must have something.

Besides there's still $132-M total market cap and currently rank @ 37.

0x is a great project. A lot of the exchanges are powered by it. I am not really sure if the token has any value for anyone else rather than exchanges and financial institutions. How do you expect it to grow? If a 1000 new exchanges are created, then yes, there may be some growth. But we are in a bear market shutting down exchanges.

It has created a fully working product but sadly the dex can't something to attract those centralized exchange user to use its service and then the fact has said that 0x gets less and less popular caused by this problem and it looks a true story for me.

Today I sold my 0x coins. For a loss too because I bought in December-ish. I just wanted to get rid of those 0x and try something else.

Good luck with 0x and sucking up those losses, newbies.

I missed the train, when I heard about 0x for the first time, it made a big growth, now it is to late to buy, so I didn´t do any deeper research about this coin.
