I agree with your post. Unlike the thousands of other coins and tokens out there, BitTorrent came up with a finalized product before getting their token listed in the exchange. Normally first they have the token and after that they start the development. Here it was different, and that's what make this token so attractive when compared to the numerous other alts and tokens out there.

Bittorent's product was already being launched and being used by users. It just happened that Justin sun was looking for more projects to add to Tron's ecosystem. Bittorent would've succeeded if it was a stand-alone project not managed by Tron team.

The supply was too high. I've not even added the numerous airdrops that were distributed amongst BTT holders. It was just too much. Bittorent's biggest pitfall was getting delisted by Binance. That was the only major exchange where it was listed.

It is only partially true. Bittorent existed since 2001. It has been in circulation (the software, and not the token) for almost two decades. On the other hand, TRON was launched in 2017. I myself have used Bittorent since 2006. So you can't attribute its success to Justin Sun. All that said, it is obvious that Bittorent gained from its association with TRON. I am not going to deny that.

Since this topic was created by the OP, and until the launch of the BitTorrent (BTT) coin, in 2019, until now it has been the end of 2020, there has been no sign of goodness in terms of the price of that one coin.

To be honest, I'm more interested in TRON coins, the parent of BTT coins, I'm not sure BitTorrent can pump and achieve good grades for now even though BTT currently has the best rating on the marketcap.
Not tempted even though prices are affordable and await high uncertain prices.

So, you must see the fact if this project is a forgotten one. The fact that so many new projects have already replaced the place that has already owned by this project. BTT is an over valued project based on its usecase.

I think this also solves a problem of hosting small applications. Let's say you have a webpage a simple .html file with javascript and css inside the code, let's say 100Kb that you want to host somewhere. Cheapest hosting today is like $1/month? With btfs you can host your small application or anything for about $0.0000025/month for every 100Kb

I think Justin need to focus more on his projects created already than creating and abandoning them. Defi projects are doing well he is now looking at creating one. What happens to Wink and Btt.

Currently, this coin is trading at $0.0003 and with high volume also. But, it has to create some foot mark for their project which lead to price appreciation in future. Yes, investing in BTT doesnt matter because its useless just like his trx it will slowly fade away in ranking until people forget about it.

BTT is listed almost on all high-rank exchanges and the initial investors of IEO had gotten a good return on their investment. Project is on TRON blockchain. Project is real and from a long time now they are in the crypto market, Hope this will good in the near future.
