I found out that Cotten died in India and there's a death certificate issued by Indian government so there is no chance that it is an exit scam because they have a clear and strong evidence. Hmm, I guess the reason regarding the frozen asstes which which came up to this controversy is this,

Then came last week’s revelation that QuadrigaCX owes more than $100 million worth of cryptocurrency to its customers but is unable to repay because Cotten had sole control of the private keys connected to those funds. Robertson said in court filings that while she is in possession of Cotten’s laptop, it is encrypted and is currently inaccessible.

How unfortunate for QuadrigaCX customers .

Union bank is the first bank dito sa bansa na nagka interes in blockhain tech for finance related-services wayback 2017 or 2018 kung di ako nag kakamali. At di nag kakalayo na gawing option to accept bitcoin/crypto in the future dyan sa bank na yan. Now is their great news and huge achievement for sure.

Many speculated that it's an exit scam in the making when Cotton was still alive. It just so happens he died and thereby creating the perfect excuse that he alone knows the private keys. But blockchain forensics show that Quadriga has no funds in its supposed cold storgae wallets. In other words, no evidence of locked funds.

Well magandang balita nga ito dahil alam naman natin na hindi lahat ng mga bangko ay willing na ma-involved sa Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies, pero ang Unionbank mas nakikita ito para mapahusay ang systema ng financial industry. Pero sabihin na natin na maganda nga ito, pero isipin natin ano ba ang kaibahan ng ATM na ito sa iba pang naunang cryptocurrency ATMs? well hindi pa natin alam kasi hindi pa naman ito narerelease or available ang service nila na ito. Pero kung magiging pareho lang ito ng ibang crypto ATMs na malaki mag charge, then tingin ko hindi rin ito tatangkilikin ng mga tao dahil meron naman tayong ibang ways para makabili at mag benta ng ating mga cryptocurrencies which is mas maliit lang ang service charge. But still magandang balita parin ito dahil malay natin, yung ibang bangko sumunod din sa ginawa nila.

Noon pa man eh talagang solid unionbank user ako, pinaclose ko yung ibang bank account ko pero ang union avid follower ako niyan, lalo last 2017 na nasabi sa akin nung manager nila sa commonwealth na ready na sila to adopt blockchain talagang yayakapin mo ang crypto lalo.

Di lanag hakahaka yan boss totoo ang naririnig mo, late 2016 pumutok na yang plan na yan, at mismong narinig ko to sa branch manager nila last 2017 na plan nga raw nila itong ilaunch ng 2019.

Upon checking the website, it seems that it's not secured. It only shows one ATM at Makati, Sunette Tower. The setting up of it might not be finished yet or something.

Sa mga malapit dun pwede nalang nilang tignan ko legit or active na yun ATM. Noon din kasi may napansin ako nag post dito sa Local board ng ATM tpos nasa Makati city part daw sya. Yun site cguro on development pa or beta.
