So what? Don't we all have something to gain by promoting bitcoin?

A bigger issue regarding Dorsey is that Twitter is not a free speech platform.

Also, why did you include "bitcoin fraud" in the title? I don't think either JR or Dorsey are in trouble for not pointing out the relationship between the podcast and the Cash App, I think JR is in trouble for not pushing Jack in the podcast (which is what his subscribers wanted).

so
dorsey likes bitcoin
dorsey likes joe rogan

but the OP thinks that because of this dorsey should NOT invest in these simply because he likes them.
and then
again because he likes them dorsey should not then be allowed to talk about them

(facepalm)

to OP: if you like to eat chicken, do not ever buy chicken or ever talk about chicken. unless your a hypocrit

And why is this committing fraud exactly? Huh
Everybody knows Joe Rogan is pro bitcoin and has stated it on his podcast before.
Having a guest who has a bitcoin app available and in public knowledge the ceo of a huge marketable corporation who can advertise it on there if he so wishes isnt against the law is it?

also joe rogans podcasts are not really the podcasts that have guests get  "held to account" whipping frenzy of arguments.

i guess those that want dorsey to be whipped into answering about twitter should request dorsey use a different platform where controversy and argumentative debate occurs

also wheres the fraud. its public information that dorsey likes bitcoin and JRE and advertises both... nothing was hidden

Why do they have to reveal anything if the relationship is somewhat mutual towards promoting bitcoin? I don't see fraud in here unless one or the other party commits something violating the terms they have had with their users on their platforms, but so far no one has done that. They are doing something good for bitcoin in reality while here you are, constantly yapping about each of them committing fraud without actually committing fraud in the first place. Strange, I never knew such guesting would have implied fraud for some people Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Since there are any noteworthy negative news against bitcoin at this stage, news outlets are coming up with more shit that ever, earlier they were coming up with old news, resurfacing as a new one and now twisting a podcast and finding correlation on why it is advertised  Roll Eyes.   The only thing i found is that Joe Rogan did not ask much about political censorship and their stand on certain things when it comes to censorship and that is not usually Rogan is, he usually gets clarity on everything but i did not see that section being discussed. Where did you find the fraud in all this ?.  Roll Eyes

I can't believed that there are people who is trying to discredit someone/something that really involved in crypto. I don't see anything wrong here, why would Joe Rogan needs to discuss it whether he has partnership with Jack Dorsey or not? Everything is business here, at some point people needs to earn money in whichever way they can.

I echo the sentiments that I did not find any fraud here, only people who has something to benefit from behind by attacking both personalities.

I also wonder why people make false news about what happened in other to promote their article or dishonor crypto currency lovers all because of self satisfaction and I believe the OP have something to do it because there's no nothing that involve scam in the own article while headline tells another story.

I never trusted Joe Rogan, he is a shill and will do anything for money.  I find his podcasts to be boring and overall I don't find him to be an intelligent or likeable guy.  He is only famous because of who he knows in the showbiz industry, not because of actual talent.

Has anyone even read the article in question?

The fraud part comes in where it's suggested that Jack Dorsey's Cash mobile app is one of the biggest sponsors of JRE.
Then it follows with the fact that Joe Rogan went easy on Jack with the questions, because he's their biggest sponsor.

Now, I have to add that even with those claims, they do not have a solid case.
Joe Rogan often goes very easy on his guests, I don't think that in itself proves that he went easy on Jack specifically because of possible implications regarding his sponsorship.

I read it and the one on hacked.com but I still don't think it's fraud, as for Joe going easy on Jack, well, one guy can only know so much. Regardless, Dorsey offered to go back and discuss their speech policy along with the person in charge of deleting flagged accounts, which I think is a step in the right direction.

as soon as egalitarian ideals, and cryptocurrency start investing the american legal system, only the rich will be able to pay lawyers to write 500 pages of arguments to free themselves and it will drain their wealth massively

i expect the western societies especially the american one basically to fracture into countless pieces

I believe the OP doesn't know what he's saying here.
He needs to contemplate on his own in a far far away place, where no one but him only exist.  Wink

I mean it's nasty that they didn't disclose sponsorships and their financial incentive to shill - that's the real issue.
Nothing wrong with promoting a bitcoin startup otherwise. Although Jack is the last person you'd want as a cheerleader of an uncensorable currency.
Overall, exaggerated story, but I agree what Rogan did was poor and Jack is a piece of work.

didnt disclose?
...
its public information.
its not a secret

the actual issue is that some people didnt like that some dude got to talk about a subject he prefered rather than a subject some viewers wanted to see...

its like interviewing daniel radcliffe about a new movie but some viewers get very anally butt hurt that harry potter was not brought up in the conversation

its like interviewing arnold schwarzenegger about politics a few years back but some viewers get very anally butt hurt that terminator was not brought up in the conversation

That doesn't make any sense at all. Dorsey is just a fan of bitcoin, and wants to see it prosper. Therefore, he is talking highly of it.
There is literally no bad side to this, everyone benefits.

So basically in the article is stated that Jack Dorsey has said the following sentence Bitcoin could become the native currency of the internet during one of his interview and many people think he said that because he was motivated by financial self-interest. Thats why everyone thinks this could be a bitcoin fraud but there is no proof to belive that.

I really don't think it is as you are portraying it my friend. Joe Rogan and Jack Dorsey have been knowing each other for long.
Jack Dorsey has been a fan of bitcoin and the internet gives everybody the right to speak. This doesn't make him any kind of fraud.
He has just expressed his thoughts like I am doing it here right now. Neither will I be called a fraud nor him  Grin
