Price always overshoots, so thirties something before stabilization.

This doesnt really seem to represent anything.  Just because there is a line from 2012 that gradually goes up (that doesnt account for the spike into he $300s) doesnt mean it is supported by anything.  This seems like a terrible use of technical analysis if you ask me...will the price drop into the $30s, sure it might, but not because this chart says it will.  NO offense

It is factual data no technical analyses. You can not lock at the past to predict the future. No technical analyses would have shown a spice up to  $358,34

My point is that it is a flat line up, you can angle that line any which way and just state that you expect litecoin to go up/down based on the line placement.  To me it just doesnt seem relevant given the wide price fluctuations over and below it.

I don't think it's a bad investment though. Just a long term one like BTC.

agree . ltc is not a bad coin to invest and your right that its a long term coin since its value were quite a bit stable and slow moving just like any other alts out there but btc ? nah , btc is supposed to be known as a short to mid term investment asset since its value can quickly rise and fall  .

  ltc this year is looking better than compare to ltc back on the year 2018  and ltc in next year will going to be more better , thats for sure

Litecoin in 2019 is actually better than last year but overall, the situation of litecoin is not as optimistic as you think, even I have a lot of hunch it will get worse in subsequent years because although many people speculate that litecoin is very potential and suitable for the long term but in fact, it has only a strong outer shell, the inside has weakened and no strength to compete. Besides, the dominance of bitcoin is gradually higher, only the young altcoins and the strength can overcome this dominance, the old altcoin does not have too many advantages for this battle.

I disagree with "only the young altcoins can overcome this dominance." Litecoin has a much bigger backing than most "young" altcoins, and it's not about overcoming dominance.  Bitcoin is going to be bitcoin what these other projects need to do is find out where they fit in and find their niche, it's not about being #1.

I disagree with "only the young altcoins can overcome this dominance." Litecoin has a much bigger backing than most "young" altcoins, and it's not about overcoming dominance.  Bitcoin is going to be bitcoin what these other projects need to do is find out where they fit in and find their niche, it's not about being #1.

In the cryptocurrency market, the largest role is played by the liquidity of the asset. I think that projects should offer more trade contests.

I dont get why you quoted this?  Litecoin offers incredible liquidity if that is what you mean.  These new projects are hit or miss, they might catch on a high volume exchange or they might not.  Litecoin will always be traded on most every exchange and even have its own alt/pairs.

I agree with you . Old coins don't have any advantage in price appreciation because the investment needs are very low compared to reality and new coins will have more opportunities to increase prices in the near future. The current market is difficult to predict but Bitcoin will still be a good investment coin and if the market enters an uptrend, many new projects will have very good growth in the next few years.

I don't know but for me, I don't like litecoin what I mean I don't want to invest in it but I also know that 2019 will be good for litecoin especially if bitcoin will make a big move this year.

Litecoin is very developing this year and the price is also like Ethereum which might be the same as other altcoins. Current market conditions seem to still belong to Bitcoin. Litecoin will rise with another altcoin when conditions improve

Litecoin has been one of the best performers of this year, we saw huge gains with it in the start of market recovery. It was the one that started the recovery only then BTC followed. Now it has been very volatile, huge dump and small recovery, it could be again indicator for what is going to come.

I suggest you still have to be able to hold Litecoin because Litecoin currently has a very good price movement and do not let you miss Litecoin, because I think this Litecoin has the potential to rise due to the influence of bitcoin which has begun to show price increases, don't let you sell assets that you have at cheap prices.

For some reason there is big expectation over Litecoin, but there is no big move in the price of Litecoin. The halving of Litecoin is the major event that created the market demand, and Litecoin running on the same algorithm as bitcoin adds more importance to it. As of now there is not much of growth experienced on altcoins, the same has taken place with Litecoin. Hope the progress of Litecoin will happen along with the increase of altcoin dominance.

Bitcoin uses SHA256 and Litecoin uses Scrypt. I don't see how they're "running on the same algorithm". I truly think all of you that are freaking out about the price of Litecoin being low and are afraid it's going to stay that low need to chill. I've watched it go up and down in price for years now. Everytime it hits one of the highs, I really wish I would have held on to some in place of some of my Bitcoin.

I just browsed Binance for a while and just seen that 1D of it seems it's on the bottom still have doubts though but I'm not buying that China news, to be honest, because it's just puffery you know they can declare again that they promoted blockchain but they'll ban crypto, how sad of them are they just really the market to rely on?

If LTC breaks that bottom I have a hunch that it will be the start of alt season.

calm down the price of litecoin at the exchange place in 2019 will follow the movement of bitcoin prices at the exchange, so I am sure the price of litecoin still has very good potential, so you should not release litecoin easily.

Litecoin is a good cryptocurrency, and it is one of the most reliable altcoins. However, the price for one alt might not grow greatly until Bitcoin reaches 15 thousand at least. I guess the maximum possible price for one LTC will be 80 dollars. On the other hand, its market capitalization is growing, and it can take the 45th or even the 4th place among the best-rated cryptocurrencies on CMC.
