The only way litecoin is going to gain significantly is if bitcoin does and litecoin at least retains its own value in terms of bitcoin.  I don't think ltc is going to increase on its own, because it just isn't sexy anymore like it used to be.  I wouldn't deny that ltc has a fairly strong community and won't be one of the coins that dies in the next 10 years, but its sort of like dogecoin.  It isn't a good coin for traders (tho better than doge in that respect).

We might see craziness like 2017 again, but I'm not sure it's going to happen next year.  And I'm not saying ltc won't hit another all time high, because it probably will.  I *am* saying there are probably better coins to invest in, in anticipation of a new bull market.

Ofcourse LTC will rise at least in 2023 they will held a halving which might pump the price. People won't leave LTC because LTC has a very fast transaction speed and i'm usually buying LTC for transferring my assets between exchange. Even if i have btc,eth,xrp,xlm i would definitely convert it to LTC first before i send it to my another exchange address because LTC is the only coin that i trust due to it's transaction speed and also very low fee (this is the most important)

I think in the same way, litecoin is a good project that is going to be around for a long time and anyone that is holding litecoins doesn't really have to worry about the coin disappearing during the next years, but as an investment we must recognize that there are many coins out there that are going to outperform litecoin and in my opinion one of those coins is going to be bitcoin so there is not too much of a point on holding an altcoin as an investment if bitcoin is going to grow even more rapidly.

Litecoin is truly a very classic and reputable project that is quite sustainable in this market when it still occupies a good position for a long time, regardless of the changes and threats, it's still here and going on the journey with us all, the chances of it disappearing are really low. But the same thought with a lot of people here, it's sustainable but it doesn't mean it's worth investing, too many updates and changes from the market made litecoin and some old coins are no longer the center of the market, with the exception of bitcoin, the altcoins in the early years are outdated, replaced with the power of youthful and perfect altcoins

No one really denies that litecoin is a good coin, but that does not necessarily means it is a good investment, I have data of the movements of the price of bitcoin and litecoin that dates back to 2013 and if you invested the same amount of fiat in litecoin and bitcoin and held to this day bitcoin will be the one that gave you the most profits, when you think about this then what it is the point of holding an altcoin that does not have the capacity to give you more profits than bitcoin.

I think this statement is already expired, because this thread was 10 months older so Litecoin development is know this world. Because number of positive and negative feedbacks are comes in the market, so we just analyse and take our own decision is the perfect way for all the altcoin.

Litecoin is one of the best altcoins in the market but it appears the altcoins bear market has affected the Litecoin price. In the last year 2018, the Litecoin price reaches up to $350+ during the altcoins market bull run but it is currently down to only $55 what a bear season? Bad luck buying at $110. Still, long term it might prove to be a good investment. The craze for investing in new ICOs will die out, loads of coins are going to get delisted and die, and only a few will survive in ten years time - and I think litecoin will be one of them and at a good price too.

I just don't think 2020 will be the year of Litecoin. There's just too many new projects for people to invest in that aren't LTC. A few years ago, I could see Litecoin really taking off. But now you have Ethereum and a few other projects that have a lot more hype than Litecoin will at all this year. That's not saying the price won't increase though because I'm sure it will. I just don't see LTC taking that number 2 spot in the marketcap back anytime soon.

In last few days the price of litecoin has decreased by 6.61%. And litecoin volume traded during the last 24 hours is $2,542B or 4. 50% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies, and bearish prices occur in almost every altcoin currently available, so in my opinion this is the right time for us to buy a number of litecoin to be held before bitcoin half a day in 2020, and of course the impact of half is usually the price of bitcoin and other altcoins will experience an increase in market prices.

I have less hope on Litecoin, though I hold a little amount in litecoin but it looks like the team is not up to the margin in developing and implementing new things. There was a huge hype in the early days of LTC but with BTC fall, litecoin couldnt withstand.
