As title says selling Obelisk SC1 Siacoin miner. It's batch 2 and just recieved it few days ago.

Miner hashes at around 550 GHash/s while consuming 500w. Comes with included 1000w PSU. Until new firmware update miner needs to be checked as it miner drop in speed. When this happens need to set fan speed to 50% for few mins and then turn back to 80-85.

Miner is hosted at Iowa, USA. Would prefer is it stays there, but can ship anywhere.

Forum escrow as always accepted. Preferably OgNasty or philipma1957.

Looking to get 0.9BTC for set, but open to offers.

Thanx and happy mining/buying.

I haven't been following siacoin or the hardware for it lately.  Wasn't there an algo change a couple months ago.  If so this asic mines that new algo?  And what's the electric cost at that hosting facility

Hi there!

Yes Siacoin forked their algo so it can only be mined on Obelisk miners. So plp with Bitmain and Halong miners can only mine SiaClassic. http://www.btcmeqc.com/ hosting should be around 80$ per kW/month. So around 40$ for this miner. But you can msg them and ask.

On Obelisk discord channel they go for $1200-1500.I just asked for 3 board SC1 Batch1 and it was $1700(which is a bit overpriced compared to other prices there)
