I like very much that most of the coins are ERC-20 tokens and can be conveniently and safely stored in the MEW wallet. Even my today's favorite - the project of the Sound Money Coin is quietly stored in this wallet. It is very convenient and safe!

Nice one and thumbs up for this post. The most important feature for every wallet is security. How secure is the wallet? Then other features follow like: is there an app for the wallet? Is it decentralized whereby one holds private key or mnemonic and is  responsible for his wallet security? Who are the developers, are they known people in crypto or tech space? Is it a hardware wallet or app or web wallet? . I usually prefer hardware wallets but they have their own flaws, my best pick is ledger Nano S. Trezor too is good, both are universal crypto hardware wallets. Talking about software wallets, my best picks for mobile is atomic wallet, imtoken, trust wallet, blockchain wallet and ARAX wallet.

Cryptocurrency wallets is an important aspect as far as crypto sphere is concern, having someone to address that aspect will surely be a relief to so many people in the forum especially the newbie. Great job.
There are so many wallets which are being use to store our bitcoin and our investment for long term, but we will have to choose the best which is blockchain. It is reliable to use and it is able to buy goods whenever we need, it is easily accessible and it has promising features about safety and security. It saves our money and it has safe private key the specialty of blockchain is that we can use it for money transaction.

Well sometimes I do think the same way as you, the community support for all these ERC20 tokens have gotten is really convenient. It's not limited to wallet but decentralized exchange aswell. Even better is the fact that the newest samsung galaxy s10 has dedicated wallet from factory and that thing can save ethereum and erc20 token.

When you want to choose what cryptocurrency wallet you want to use, you may consider few things before doing so.
What will you do with your wallet ? Do you want to use the wallet for trading ? or investing on project ? or holding coin ?
With this answer, you can proceed to use particular wallet like hardwallet/coldwallet to holding, hot wallet to trading, etc.

So far we usually get much of Etherum token, I think the most useful among them all is Myetherwallet and I have been using it for more than four years now and I have never had issues with it though I have read of many falling victim of phising site trying to confuse people about the wallet.

Of all the wallets today, it is impossible to make a choice in favor of any one, because it seems to me that today they do not fit each other and it is best to use original wallets, although this generally does not give any guarantee for hacking.

Only wallets with private keys are advisable to use other wallets like web wallet and mobile multiple wallets are not for holding your cryptos,if you respect your crypto investment then it is necessary to buy a hardware wallet which is the most secured wallet available to store crypto currencies in longer term.

Hardware wallet are still quite the safest way to store up ones crypto that fits in any of the purposes you listed above but the only thing I don’t like about hardware wallet is that it can be misplaced easily, although misplacing it doesn’t mean one has lost his coins provided ones remembers his seed word but it means every time one loses such device, you have to purchase another one at a costly amount and have to wait for it to get shipped which what you need the wallet for then might be very urgent.

Software wallet would have actually be the best if not for vulnerability. Though till now, I still use software wallet but I do make sure it is very secured.

If you own many coins, then you understand that today it is very difficult to use a very large number of official wallets, so I think that all this is extremely bad. It would be right to use one for all as Trezor

Very good explanation about all types of wallets. This information is really useful.
Since the topic is about cryptocurrencies wallets, I came across a project called Skelpy which provides privacy certificates to wallet providers. These kind of privacy certificates will insure the authenticity of the wallet which is important to increase the confidence of existing users and attracting new users for trading and storing.
Here is my article written on this topic on medium. If you like it, just give a clap!
thank you.

Nano ledger is quite good one and I am telling this because I own one.Apart from that for small amounts my ether wallet, metamask and even the launched Trust wallet is quite good. Those were days back when the price was very low I had one and only coinbase account.used for storing some bounties and faucets.but things have changed after 2017//LOL Tongue Tongue Tongue

This is really helpful for those who are just starting in crypto and doesn't know which wallet would fit for them.
They would know which one is the best to store their crypto .
And let's not forget you should always keep ypur back up safe just in case of emergency.

Using web wallet is not recommended because your wallet will have more chance to be compromised.
Only use web wallet from a trusted website. But even trusted site such myetherwallet, was hacked long time ago.
Using hard wallet is recommended for everyone who want to more security in using cryptocurrency.

You mention all kind of wallet. For me as a cryptocurrency trader, investor and hunter having a secure wallet will help you to keep your token safety and secure. I have hardware wallet that help me to keep my token secure. If you need a wallet I suggest you should hardware wallet.
What is hardware wallet? Is it different from Live Wallet?
