I think this is an another bitcoin with the name of bitcoin attached to it to make some.kind of attention that it is related to bitcoin or it will have prices like bitcoin in future.

ok, do not misunderstand me, but if you take a look around we all detected a real war between BCH and BTC. Two reasons why I started this thread:

A) I want to know what is on your mind about BSV
B) I want to know the pro and cons you discovered for your self

A) it is a useless copycat. basically any project that forks another project and changes minimal meaningless attributes that don't make a difference is considered a copycat and a worthless shitcoin. specially when they know from start that their coin is garbage so much that they have to abuse the brand of another coin (bitcoin in this case) and get some publicity like a parasite....
and that my friend makes it a shitcoin

B) there is no pros. only cons. and cons as in scammers.
this coin was created purely to make money. they basically doubled the amount of coins they had, added some other revenue for themselves with pump and dumps and other services such as their sale of ASICs and their pool fees they take. and also the scams that the people behind it (mainly Wright) is making them more money.
this coin is not created as a cryptocurrency to implement the blockchain technology in a different way like what legit projects do. it is created to scam people and make money.

Your question is why BITCOIN SV is an altcoin. It's a stupid question. Any coin other than Bitcoin is altcoin. Simple. People are spreading fud, specially BCH that they are the real bitcoin but no, BTC is the real bitcoin.

it is actually very simple to figure out (with good accuracy) which coin is a shitcoin and which coin is not. you just have to ask two very simple questions.
1. where is that coin being used in real world
2. what problem does that coin actually solve.

and when the answer is "nowhere and nothing" then you can easily know that the coin is a shitcoin.

in case of BSV, it is not used anywhere and will never be used because if anybody wanted to use anything apart from bitcoin they would use other much better than BSV altcoins. altcoins such as LTC, NANO, IOTA, Monero,... even DOGE are much better than BSV. even faster and much cheaper with no controversy.
as for the problem solving, it doesn't solve anything. it is the same as bitcoin only with more centralization! so if anything it has more negative sides.

It is not even an altcoin, It is a shitcoin being shilled by Craig Wright and his minions.

It doesn't have any magical solutions to bitcoin's layer 1 scaling problem. The only reason it exists to make Craig&Ayre even richer. They don't even need more money but you know these egoistic narcissistic sociopathic fucks like Roger, Ayre and Craig can never get enough.

You may be convinced by what Wright says but until the whole crypto world(including the miners who are the decision makers) accept BSV as bitcoin and BTC as an altcoin, BTC is still the bitcoin we know so BSV is for short an altcoin.


Everyone may create a new coin and call it the original bitcoin so I do not see any sense in calling BSV bitcoin instead of 'altcoin'. What the bsv devs are saying is just a piece of inscription with no backing. They want common fame and nothing more but they will never survive.

I doubt that Satoshi had so stupid vision to make 32Mb blocks, because in this case and if it is most usable blockchain, the size would increase so fast, so very few miners and nodes would be able to support it in a few years. A sustainable decrease on its price from above $100 to the $62 just tell us if that was a shitcoin that created by fake satoshi that always claimed himself as the creator of bitcoin anytime. No utility usage and i think that BCH as the same role as BCH too, both of these coins created by the politicians with their visions.

Other than bitcoin everything is altcoins, same as we have bitcoin as an alternate to the traditional fiat we've got altcoins as an alternate to the bitcoin. In this way each and every coin that has come into existence carrying the names of bitcoin as well without bitcoin comes under altcoins. In specific even the bitcoin cash which is the forked coin of bitcoin too an altcoin.
